Tastes like grandmaโs cooking
The dumplings are delicious and easy to use for old fashioned chicken and dumplings. There is almost no meat in the can, so i add a cooked chicken, deboned and cut up into bite sized pieces, a spoonful of onion powder, a little pepper and handful of dried parsley, then bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. My family loves it and its all eaten when i take it to gatherings.

If you're smart put this in your cart
Holy smokes this rivals at least my home-made Chicken and Dumplings. Its cost is actually comparable to doing it from scratch but the effort, time, and clean-up is reduced to nearly nothing. It has a good bit of chicken in it but I still add a small can of chicken by choice not necessity. I highly recommend this product!

What a disappointment!
What a disappointment. For years we have loved this product, a comfort food for both my husband and I and the kids. I donโt know who the current manufacturer is of the product, but it has changed tremendously in the past couple of years. It is filled with way too much broth, while good, it takes up a large part of the weight of the product something you would have never seen 20 years ago when my young children just loved this meal. Now, way too much broth, tiny pieces of chopped chicken added on top, and dumplings that are cut in odd shapes, not at all the dumpling from the past. As I said, what adisappointment, and we will never purchase this product again. I am truly sorry that I ordered six large cans of this so my husband could fix dinner while I was sick and unable to cook in the kitchen. We will be giving the remaining cans to the local food pantry.

Delivered on time and my old favorite tastes just as delicious as I remembered. If you love chicken and dumplings and do not have the time to make your own special recipe, just crack open the can and add spices or herbs as you see fit. Great if the power goes out!
