These are really nice, almost "stumpy" wardrobes, on the short and small side, but very easy to assemble and fit in awkward places or tight spaces. The room I needed these for was in a really awkward part of the house with absolutely minimal access, not suitable for a double or triple wardrobe unfortunately, so I decided to buy three of these and see how it went. I think it turned out pretty well. They're small and not entirely suitable for your mainline wardrobe, but if you're in need of a small guest wardrobe or even a wardrobe for children then these would be ideal, I'd say. The depth of these is such that you'll need to buy 37cm x 20cm sized coat hangers for it, regular ones will not fit, unfortunately. It was simple enough to assemble, pretty much just building a box and then screwing in some hinges. The top arch part was a little tricky, and one of the arch pieces arrived broken and required gluing together, which you can see in progress in the provided image, which has clamps on. Just an accident in shipping no doubt, probably could have asked for a replacement but I didn't want to be a bother, really! The inside is nothing spectacular, just a shelf at the top and a wooden rail below it, with enough room to hang trousers or shirts. The wood is nice to look at and came with minimal wear and tear or damage, and in the future could easily be painted if you wanted a change. Think I'll be using these as an impromptu cupboard as well as a wardrobe, one day! Happy with the purchase, anyway. Could maybe have been a little taller and deeper, but otherwise a good little wardrobe, in my opinion.

The finished product is a really good quality wardrobe for the price. It's sturdy enough, the fixtures and fittings look nice and the design is quite attractive. Warned by most of the other reviews, 2 of us assembled this wardrobe and took our time with it. The smaller components are all mixed up in a small number of bags, so I strongly recommend taking the time to split them out into separate containers (our attempt pictured!), particularly the screws as it would be easy to get the different sizes mixed up. The larger pieces are not labelled at all and the instructions are not great at distinguishing between similar-looking but very different pieces, so be careful. After our experiences, some key things that almost threw us: - the very first step has 3 or 4 different things going on in it, and even worse, it's wrong! I've included photos in case they help anyone out; basically, it's impossible to have the pieces laid out exactly as shown because the holes will appear to be in the wrong place. You only need to worry about the vertical holes for the dowel pieces, and the very faint holes for the rail holder pieces. - the horizontal pieces are all slightly different - the one with the chiselled corners is the bottom of the wardrobe, the deepest rectangular piece is the shelf, and the shallowest rectangular piece is the top of the wardrobe (the gap allows for the arch to be slotted in later) - there were no pre-made holes for the little mounting brackets for the arch at the top and the frame at the bottom - we left these pieces until a bit later than the instructions suggested, as it was easier to a) understand what they were for and b) align them centrally - go lightly on the door hinges and fittings until you're sure you've got everything lined up correctly. It took us a few adjustments to get everything clicking together properly, and even then both doors are slightly misaligned. Due to the curvature of the wood, there seemed to be no way to have them perfectly symmetrical AND clicking properly closed, but for the value of the wardrobe it's a trivial detriment.

I've previously bought the bed side cabinets in this range, so knew what to expect in terms of quality. However, I did look around before I bought this and compared a lot of places. Nothing approached this in terms of price and the closest equivalent in quality in a showroom was more than three times the price. It arrived when stated and was dropped off in the room it was to be built in. Its worth making sure you have a lot of space to build it on the floor or it might be difficult. I built it on my own in 4 hours. I agree that labels on the wood would have made it easier to figure out, but thankfully the diagrams were clear enough that if you look at them carefully you can't go wrong. Issues I had were: 1. One of the "I" screws was the wrong one and I had to order a replacement 2. One of the pilot holes was too big for the screw and I had to get a bigger screw out my toolbox. 3. The top "fancy detailing" which slides in... didnt. I had to take it apart and then build it in situ as it was very tight. This piece is fairly essential for stability too. 4. I split a piece of the laminate due to a wonky nail as I tacked in the back pieces. This was annoying and I should have binned the crappy nails. Tips are, take your time and check and double check before you screw anything together. A glove helps stop blisters and a rubber mallet helps assembly at points. Recheck your screws before lifting and once assembled as it "settles". Finished product is very good. Hanging space is smaller than I'd have liked, but I'll just start folding my jeans. Just what I needed though, a decent quality piece of kit that does the job, looks good and hasn't broke the bank.

The finished product looks OK and I guess is reasonable for the money. The finish is a bit rough on a couple of the doors. Most of the product is assembled using self tapping wood screws. They are the smallest size that would do. The finished item would be too large and heavy to move so would need to be fully dissembled of relocated. Re-assembly would require using the same screws and I don't think they would bight into the wood second time around - so if you move home best leave it behind. The doors are a bit flimsy and latch using cheap ball catches so opening and closing is noisy. As for assembly - I took about 8 hours all in. Firstly I checked all the items were there - essential with flat pack. Only exactly quantities are supplied so take care. The large wooden items are not marked so it took a fair bit of figuring out which is which. I labelled after that. The instructions say 2 people are needed but I did it on my own OK. The wardrobe is assembled on its back so needs enough space for it to lie and for you to get round it as well as extra space for when you stand it up. I stood it up on my own but it was heavy - better with 2 people. I was able to shuffle/slide it into place but again 2 people would help. Whilst I am happy enough with the assembled product I would not have purchased had I known how hard it was to assemble and the nature of it being held together. 2 small wardrobes would be better than 1 large in my opinion.

This wardrobe looks great a lovely piece of furniture matching my other furniture very good quality east to put together I have two now matching good and strong a great product I highly recommend

This item looks good but it is not easy to put together. None of the pieces had numbers on, had to figure out what piece was which. Had markes on a few of the pieces, missing rail for coat hangers, screws weren't long enough. Wouldn't recommend paying for this .

The wardrobes are excellent, although the screws were not of good quality, the heads being too small for a screwdriver to forcefully sink them in to the quite hard wood and so many got ‘rounded’ and I needed to use my own screws. Another criticism is that the instructions could be a bit better and it was hard to tell which parts should be at the top or the bottom so if each part was marked at either end, ‘top’ and ‘bottom’ it would have cut down the assembly time. Two or three times sections were assembled and after new parts were attached coming to the end of assembly it was only discovered that some parts were upside down and had to be disassembled and started again so some markings on each part to signify would have been a great help.

I recently purchased a Corona 4 door arch top wardrobe. Since receiving the item, I've had multiple inconveniences & time wasted due to missing & damaged parts, missing deliveries, erratic deliveries & overall unsatisfactory quality of the item. On opening the parcel, no fittings were to be found...it then took 3 days, and many phone calls, until these were delivered. Missing parts, along with bowed parts also required replacement, one being a door that needed a replacement for the replacement as it was delivered with a split in the wood. Several days were wasted awaiting deliveries, and making calls to chase them. Brackets for hanging rail in main compartment broke when trying to fit rail because the gap was too small, so we had to use an alternative rail, from previous wardrobe. The rear panels do not match the rest of the wardrobe, as illustrated on the pictured item on Amazon. The ones received were hardboard whereas the one advertised had rear panels that matched the rest of the wood, (and not matching the description of plain plywood.) When fitting the doors, they did not match up at top & bottom. There were big gaps at top along hinge sides. Holes were in wrong places so new ones had to be drilled. The centre piece for hinges was too short. Catches did not reach doors if screwed onto wardrobe base as this was not flush (as shown on photo). Pieces of wood needed to be attached to wardrobe base in order that doors could close, otherwise door closure catches would have been useless. The wardrobe does not look as good as the one pictured on Amazon, nor does it look exactly the same, suggesting minor manufacturing alterations from when originally listed. Clearly the one photographed is not the one for sale but an older, different, version. The missing & unusable parts, the days wasted awaiting deliveries that did not arrive within the time we were informed they would, or never arrived at all, resulted in unnecessary inconvenience, stress, & consumption of time. Although we did receive apologies for the missing and damaged items, it was stated a few times that it was rare for any item to be damaged or missing, & that we must have been rather unlucky with the ones we had received. However, perusing reviews on Amazon for this & other Corona items from Mercers implies that they have dealt with other unsatisfactory customers, with very similar issues, & were therefore knowledgeable about the possibility of unsatisfactory quality items. I have ordered & been very satisfied with other items of Corona furniture from Mercers in the past, but after my recent experience with the wardrobe & customer service of the company, I doubt that I shall be considering any more, unless confident that any future purchases were to be free from problems........which at this time is a confidence I lack.

It's not the most professional assembly but for the price is good. The doors don't close properly and it's hard to adjust.
