I use a box cutter every day. The complaints on this product are the same for every box cutter I have ever used. I have not had any issues with this product at all. The size is perfect, maybe too perfect, if I forget I have it when I try to get on a plane. I have several products from this company with no issues on any of them. Keep in mind if you have problem with maybe try a new blade or a different blade manufacture. I am about to buy a bunch more for my employees. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Hard to operate with one hand *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2024* I had high hopes for this knife. The couple of reviews I watched on YouTube had nothing but glowing praises for it but my experience has been the opposite. The build quality looks to be quite high, and it was the only knife of its ilk with a separate locking button slide. It looked to be well thought out design including the deep-carry clip. Unfortunately what let's this knife down is its ergonomics and its action. Extending or retracting the blade with one hand is a bit of hit or miss with more misses than hits. The slide action is just a bit too rough. I tried oiling the knife and even tried graphite powder but it didn't fix the problem. Sometimes the blade gets stuck. And often I'm unsure if the knife has engaged one of the detents on the blade to lock it. It's quite easy to slide past the final detent and go to the blade eject position. On one occasion when this happened, I was able to retract the slide button all the way but I still a bit of the blade sticking out. This is not supposed to happen and I assume it's because the blade became partially dislodge in the blad eject position. I bought a pair of these knives and I've tried both with several models of blades (Dewalt Carbide, Gearyte ceramics, etc) but the problem persisted. If you plan to use both hands then this is less of a problem. Unfortunately, I need to be able to use this knife single-handed. I ended up buying Ainhue A373 Titanium Pocket Folding Flipper Utility Knife. The Ainhue is a much better knife in terms of build quality, ergonomics, and performance. I can highly recommend it. Its only negative is that the Dewalt Carbides do not fit in it but the Gearytes do.
