Works great. Five min to set up. The Hayward Trac vacation great even with low pump pressure. Very satisfied!

I bought this and set it a few weeks later. I followed the instructions and got it set up and it worked like a champ for about 3-weeks. Then I noticed the tracks locked up, not spinning. It would not move. I took it out of the water and manually played with the tractor treads and finally it got unstuck and moved easily again. I hooked it back up and appeared to be working fine. I just assumed that maybe a small twig git in the gears and had jammed things up. Unfortunately the next day I see the treads are not moving again. I took it out of the water and spun the treads and it quickly came unlocked. Then I kept spinning the treads hoping to see if it locked up again. It did. It seems that at certain times the shaft that is connected to both sets of treads gets stuck when the shaft moves from the interior set of gears to the larger outside gear. Not all the time but enough times where I am not confident it will be able to clean the pool on a daily basis. Is there some screw that needs to be tightened or loosened. Please comment if you know how to fix this problem. Thank you.

Light weight is correct, works really well, but it does climb the steps and sometimes get stuck, it even came apart once, but it was an easy fix. Happy I got it.

Units works well but I do wish it moved faster. Does a good job

Fairly easy to install except that the pressure tester never worked but the TracVac still worked fine. I've only had it for a few months so can't address how long it will last. So far so good.

If you can avoid this pool sweep. Here’s why, I had mine for 5 months and it’s stopped working. Initially it ran around the bottom like a 5 year old. Lately, like an 80 year old. Took it to Leslie’s and a screw inside which helps turn the track was very loose. Tightened it and still very slow. The entire product is plastic (for obvious reasons) but still it should last 5 years (a year for each hundred). Leslie’s says I’m lucky to get two years tops. If I could return it I would.

Makes the pool bottom maintenance free. Even can climb pool walls (depending on pool pump power settings). Tracks are the way to go - I’ll never go back to wheels!

Fantastic pool cleaner. Excellent suction and travels up and down the walls too.
