These run on the small side
In most brands I wear a 34 or 35 inch waist. With Carhartt I have to buy a 36 inch waist and that feels like it is pulling the at the pockets. Going to a 38 Inch waist doesn't feel like there is a big change at teh waist but the butt/thigh area becomes very loose and the crotch area feels a lot lower. The material is very comfortable and doesn't fade much even after 60+ washes. It doesn't rip or puncture easily.Very easy to clean. Stains come out very easy. They do not feel heavy when they are on and do not restrict movement.I have been wearing these pants for a few years now and over time the weak spot is the crotch. It rips next to the stitching after a year or 2. I have at least 6 pants and I wear at least 1 a day, every week.None of the above mentioned issues are enough of a problem to keep me from buying these pants.Overall they are a quality pant and worth the couple extra dollars compared to other similar pants.

These are the best cargo pants I think I've ever owned
These are the best cargo pants I think I've ever owned, and I've tried many brands. The fit was perfect, Carhartt uses the same standard sizing as Levis or Dockers, so if you've ever owned a pair of pants from them, you know how these will fit. The impressive things about these pants: the material is the best quality stitched expertly without little threads hanging off like you'll find on cheaper brands. They're soft and extremely comfortable. The cargo pockets are huge. They have snap fasteners instead of that crappy velcro which gives them a neater, more business like appearance and you can throw them in with your other laundry without the damage velcro can do to clothes when you put it in the dryer. Everywhere you look on these pants they are quality. I was a little hesitant about spending $40 for a pair of pants when other brands are cheaper. After spending the money though, it was worth it. I expect these pants to last longer than the cheaper ones I have. The picture on Amazon of these pants doesn't do them justice, they are relaxed fit, but the quality of the fabric and quality of construction come through and I'd say they're more than adequate for a business casual workplace.

Decent Pants.
Decent pants. They appear to be constructed well. I've not worn them enough to really give an accurate review. They seem like they may hold up for a decent amount of time. Perhaps not as long as the standard heavy Carhartt duck canvas; but these are more casual than strictly 'workwear'. They fit me fine, true to size as to the date of this review.***UPDATE***For Carhartt pants they are surprisingly good. Almost all my Carhartt stuff falls apart after 6 months, and these have actually held up with near-daily usage. One of the redeeming qualities about this style of pant is that it uses snaps instead of the cheap velcro. Velcro wears out way to quick, and it's a very cheap alternative which almost all comapnies have taken to in order to cut costs and still charge premium prices. The only let down on these pants is that if you wear them in the rain, they will soak up water like a sponge and they take forever to dry; so you'll be soaked in them. Also they are not very good in the warmer weather either. They are still a bit too heavy and don't breathe well; however, they're not as heavy as the traditional duck material on the standard Carhartt pants.Either way, they are definitely worth the price point, and as long as Carhartt maintains the quality control on these, and quits making their products cheaper and cheaper every year, then these are a good decent pair of canvas pants for general purpose work, and casual wear.

A perfect feting pair of great quality pair of Cargo Pant with no style compromise!!
I needed a rugged, good quality pair of cargo pants to be able to wear abroad and in tough environments which I didn't have any luck finding the one that offered the things that I was looking for in a pair of cargos. I saw the Carhartt Cargo pants on amazon and I liked their style but I wash;t sure that they really are as good as they look on the picture but I ordered them any way hopping for the best and wasn't that best hope right!! I received them in great timely manor and when I tried them on I immediately stormed out of my room and told my coworker that I just got me the most comfortable pair of cargo pants. These pants fit perfectly to my average built frame, the fabric is nice and soft yet rugged which gives you the confident that they could handle any kind of rough environments without compromising your comfort and not to mention awesome styled which it offers is giving you the pride of making a good fashion statement!!thank you for this great product!
