Brilliantly Designed Oil Drain Pan – Clean, Sturdy, and Spill-Resistant
Functionally, this is the best oil drain pan I’ve ever used. Compared to my old basic Draper model, this one is significantly better—wider, taller, sturdier, and much cleaner to use from start to finish. Despite being taller, it still fits easily under a raised car. The extra capacity helps prevent overspill, whether from the angle of the oil draining out or from wind blowing the stream sideways. It’s a smart, well-thought-out design. Features like the rubber-sealed pouring spout and wide-lip collection area make transferring the oil to a recycling container quick and clean, with far less risk of mess than my old pan. The build quality is excellent, with a solid fit and finish throughout. Honestly, I should’ve bought this years ago!

Stable in use. Easy to empty and clean
This is a light but sturdy plastic drain pan, with more than enough capacity to cater for the 11 litres of oil in my Jeep. The pan is large diameter, but not so tall that you struggle to get it under the engine. A long rigid spout, moulded handles and a lip all the way around the rim make it simple to move or carry, and to empty the drained oil into a container without spilling a drop. I've had other pans which weren't as rigid, and/or lacked a lip - both features are vital to avoid oil spills. Cleaning with hot soapy water is a doddle. I have two of these in my workshop (they also sit nearly atop a mobile oil drainer unit) , and another I use at home or when doing mobile servicing work. They're great for engine or gearbox oil, coolant, or anything else you have up to 16 litres of ! pretty much THE best drain pan I've found!

Can't go wrong
I needed an oil pan for changing the oil in my car. My engine has an oil capacity of 6 litres, so this was more than sufficient for it. A good sturdy thing with a good spout for draining the old oil into containers.

Caught More Oil Than My Last Relationship Caught Red Flags
I bought this oil drain pan expecting it to catch oil. What I didn’t expect was for it to catch every single drop like it was auditioning for the Olympics in mess prevention. Before this, my oil changes looked like a crime scene. Now? It’s like a Michelin-star chef plating motor oil. The pan is wide, deep, and judgment-free—perfect for those “oops, I forgot to tighten the plug” moments. It’s sturdy, doesn’t tip over when I sneeze near it, and has a spout that pours smoother than my pickup lines (which isn’t saying much, but still). I even considered naming it. Probably something heroic, like “Sir Drains-a-Lot.” Would I recommend it? Yes. It’s the unsung hero of DIY maintenance. Just don’t use it for soup. Learned that the hard way.
