Once I tried it on my newer AT2020USB-X, I also purchased one for the AT2020USB+ to replace my more traditional looking, metal frame shock mount because this audio-technica one is so compact and much better looking. Please note, however, that I use this for voice communication primarily, not in a professional recording manner. For my purposes it does a fine job of filtering out any vibrations from my desk that it sits on, but I can't comment on how effective it is at that compared to other mounts.
