I have never used a wooden comb before and there is a nice difference. This is a quality item. It has an attractive dark wood finish and a pleasant almost incense like smell to it, I guess that is the sandalwood. The comb is very smoothly finished. The two sides of the comb are a nice option. I find the close set teeth work good on the mustache and the wide set teeth work well on the rest of the beard. The box it came in is a quality thing in itself. It fits well in the in faux leather sleeve that came with it. The sleeve is made of a pretty thin material, I don't see how it can be leather. The Stylish Pirate logo is impressed nicely on the front of the storage sleeve. I did notice a fine crack toward the end of the comb on the wide tooth side. I don't think it was there when I first received it. I did drop it though the other day, it might have cracked then.
