Yes, they are slightly magnetic, that is normal for cold worked 300 series stainless (thread forming). Thread fit is a bit loose, but will probably be sufficient to hold anything you'd use this size fastener for. The finished appearance seems good enough if that's a concern. Overall satisfactory, I ordered a second pack in a different size.

The quality and performance of these is awesome, I use them for so many different things I couldn't even list what I use them for the last thing I used them for was some flea collars, I have chihuahuas so one flea collar will do at least two of them to family weigh about four and a half pounds so I don't have to buy vulnerable flea collar so I'm just cut it off and throw away the rest I can use it and even one of these screws as the closure
