I guess that if you have access to the holes, fitting is straightforward. If I remember correctly the old seat was retained by wing type nuts beneath the toilet bowl. If you can access these to remove the old seat, then you should be able to push the new seat into position from the top without any problems. This is third one I've had. They all go at the hinge side. The plastic tube inserts bend at the back that join the two parts together. The last one lasted 4 years. Bathroom toilet so not used as much as the Cloak room toilet. I've not been able to find an alternative seat. I wanted soft Cream but had to settle for white. This is for the original Dama toilet.
