OSTENT Full Housing Repair Mod Case + Buttons Replacement for Sony PSP 1000 Color Black

Don’t waste your time, it is very bad quality. Screens comes with scratches. The plastic on the screen is so soft it can be scratched with light pressure from a finger nail.

I only needed the top part of the case as mine was cracked. The fit is perfect to the OEM bottom half. the only diffrence from the 1001 top was the opening of the analogue stick hole its slightly larger on the OEM so for this one you have to pop off the checkered button and install it after you assemble the case. The screen printing of the icons and the letters is much less vibrant than the original but it still alright.I did not like the D pad feeling so I kept my original as well as the SQUARE button was a bit sticky so I kept the original.great price and overall great replacement for the original PSP from a trusted aftermarket brand.

Screen protector is garbage. Scratched when received. Barely run your thumbnail against the screen and it tears a scratch right down the front. Shell was not as strong and durable as the original shell. Do not buy if you don’t want an easily scratched screen.

I got this mainly because I just wanted the faceplate and buttons and not necessarily the whole housing but being faceplates are just as much, I decided to get this one. Overall, the product is just okay. Some of the buttons I had to sand off the tabs and one screw behind the battery didn't align but got it in. The buttons seem a bit too low profile needing to push them farther than the original faceplate. After peeling of the screen protectors (outside and in), I notice there is a slight haze in the glass. I tried to clean it (both sides) with glass cleaner and a soft cloth but it seems to be embedded into the glass, however, when the PSP is turned on, you can't see it The soft buttons didn't have double sided tape, so I had to assemble it face down. But, it's just gonna have to do, it does look decent and almost original.Would I buy it again, probably not but I hope I don't ever have to.Edit 3/2/23: Only after a month of light usage, the start button peeled off on me, so I got a replacement through Amazon. Switched it out and sent back the defective unit. A few days later, noticed the 'O' button is cracked internally and has scratches on the top side of the button which is rough to the touch. Emailed seller and no response.I would not buy this again.

Did The Job.

Didn’t fit my psp 1000, nothing lined up, screen was scratched to hell, felt cheaply made . If anything , find a “for parts” psp on eBay and buy it and use those shells for your psp replacement.

I was optimistic I would get a good one out of the batch. I bought this product to replace my old PSP 1000 shell. Right out of the box the "glass" on the faceplate had scratches and a very noticeable Haze. Disappointed I packed up the case to be returned. This product is great if your PSP is in dire need of a new shell but is of low quality if the faceplate screen comes out of the box scratched and hazed.
