The enclosure is good, came with type-c to type-a, and type-c to type-c cables. The enclosure is not tightly closed, it slides into its case, there is no screw mechanism to held it securely in place; it's not suitable if you intend carry it with your laptop or need portability, but it's fine for a budget enclosure to use with a desktop computer. And there are only two rubber fastners, I want the company to throw a few extra rubber fastners in a small packet, if I ever lost a fastner.

Don't know if I would recommend it
I used my 2011 laptop 500gb hdd to convert to external by using this enclosure. But the hdd is taking long time to read so maybe it either corrupt or this enclosure can't support 15 yrs old hdd. But the enclosure is worth the money because it has easy installation so gonna keep it.
