High quality... and you can tell.
I was looking for a good vitamin D3 supplement and stumbled across this brand. I recently have been into bodybuilding and wanted some muscle and bone density support to aid. After purchasing, blood markers are showing green ranges of exactly what I am looking for. The immune health in todays times is a very welcomed bonus. A+ and will continue buying.

K2 to tell calcium where to go
K2 tells calcium where to go. Without it, calcium will go wherever it wants in the body, and usually in spots we dont want it-- tissues, kidneys, heart, arteries, and not where we really need it: bone mass, etc.D3 increases calcium absorption, so if you supplement with D3 (actually a hormone, and a highly beneficial supplement with too many benefits to list) it is important to add in K2 (preferably in k-7 for). Glad to see more and more combos becoming available.Bioperine is great for helping to increase the absorption of a wide variety of supplements. In this situation, it helps to increase Calcium and to a lesser degree K2, but not D3.I have mixed thoughts on this supplement. D3 is hard to get enough of no matter where you live (unless right at the equator). K2 even less so (unless you at a lot of natto). Calcium is prolific to the point of detrimental effects. It is added to everything, including orange juice. We get too much of it. If we arent savvy enough to counteract it with loads of magnesium (which is very hard to get through diet), and take K2 to direct it where it needs to go, then health issues galore can occur. Kinda scary. So for me, I don't want to supplement with calcium at all. I don't down rate for this having calcium because I can see what this contains before ordering (although I actually missed it when ordering). But I wanted to point this out. Be smart when choosing supplements, and be mindful of taking this if you already take calcium or eat or drink a lot lof foods that are fortified with calcium. Side note: foods and drinks are often fortified with vitamin d, but in the form called D2, which is not helpful-- any time there is a true vitamin d toxicity it is with D2. Anytime there is a supposed D3 toxicity, it is not the D3, but the fact that it increased calcium in body--so just take K2 to counteract.Lastly, while it has bioerine to boost calcium and K2 absorption, there is NOTHING to help D3 absorb D3 (and K2) need fat for absorption. SO, if taking a capsule (rather than a soft gel which is packed with oil/fat), be sure to take this with some fat. I use a good bite of peanut butter or avocado, or a swig of olive oil to get my fat alongside my D3 & K2 supplements.Personally I probably wont be ordering this again. But the calcium isnt so high that am too worried. I just have other brands that I prefer, especially those that include the much needed fat source.Just keep the calcium info in mind, and then choose wisely.

Great supplement!
I really like the combination of supplements in this.I have to supplement with vitamin D because of a genetic issue. I also have to take calcium because I have osteoporosis too. I discovered years ago that vitamin K, along with D, is very important for helping the body deliver calcium to the bones instead of letting it build up in the arteries. This has a medium dose of calcium. I often take 400 mg at a time two or three times a day. But when I'm eating dairy or other high calcium foods then I should supplement with less. I like having this supplement on hand, plus I'll keep my other higher dose calcium so that I can more easily adjust my dosage in line with my diet. For those without osteoporosis this supplement 1x or 2x daily is likely enough on its own. It's very convenient to take this supplement that has all three of products in it, plus black pepper. The capsules are medium size and I find them easy to swallow.

Good for bone health
Several years ago, my mother was diagnosed with osteoporosis. So, I began taking vitamin D3, when she was diagnosed. I have no way of knowing how this particular brand is doing. I can't really tell any difference between these and the other brands I've taken. They haven't bothered my stomach so far. They're fairly easy to swallow, as long as I take them with juice, milk, or soda. It's not just this product. This is typically the case with any kind of veggie or cellulose capsules. I often get them stuck in my throat, when using just water. These don't really have much flavor. I didn't rate these for absorbency, since I have no way of knowing, unless I were to have specific labwork done. I'm not going to spend money on that. I definitely like that this product was made in the USA. I also like that the expiration date shows this bottle has a long shelf life. Though, I'll finish taking all of them, way before it passes. It's just good to know this.

Affordable supplements made in the USA!
I live in a dry climate where I tend to get nosebleeds way too often. I decided to try taking Vitamin K to boost my body’s ability to clot, so that would not happen so much. This supplement also has some other great ingredients that make for a potent combination. In addition to 100 mcg of Vitamin K2, these supplements contain 210 mg of calcium carbonate, 125 mcg of Vitamin D3 and 5 mg of black pepper fruit extract, along with microcrystalline cellulose as a filler in a cellulose capsule. They are non-GMO and gluten-free.K2 is a really important vitamin that we don’t normally get in the average American diet, since we don’t eat enough fermented foods, beef or dairy products. Vitamin K2 is an important clotting factor, but it’s also needed to maintain bone density, heart, blood vessel and kidney health.Calcium carbonate is also an important component for heart health and bone formation. However, it can cause constipation, if you aren’t careful. Fortunately, the dosage in this capsule is less than 20% of the recommended daily allowance, so you should be okay—provided you eat plenty of fiber and drink lots of water.I’m not sure what the purpose of the black pepper extract is, other than the manufacturer’s claim that it is supposed to “enhance nutrient absorption and maximize the benefits of each ingredient” in the formula. My big concern is with the amount of Vitamin D3 in these capsules. When you are sick or cooped up in the winter time, you need a bigger dose of Vitamin D to recover quickly—especially from the flu. However, you don’t want too much D3, because it is a fat soluble vitamin that you can actually overdose on. The label says that the amount of this vitamin in these capsules is 625% of the daily allowance—which is too much to take every day over an extended period of time. For that reason, I would not recommend that anyone take these capsules daily, and I certainly don’t think you should take more than one per day, as suggested on the label. Since I live in a sunny part of the country and get pretty regular exposure to daylight, I only take these capsules once every other day. Thankfully, they have been helping me get rid of my nose bleeds. At not quite $12 for a 60-count bottle, these are a really good deal (less than 20 cents per capsule).
