Cheap and give rough indication what's in tank. They work. If you want absolute reading down to last little bit you need different regulator with gauge and a lot more expensive. But magnetic gauges give good enough reading if used correctly and not hard to use. Stick halfway down bottle and different indicators for temperature so hot you use one set cold you use other. Make sure bottle conected with heater valve for money easy to use

Waste of time Don't stay on and not accurate

The main problem is that for something that is supposed to be magnetic, it won't stick to the gas bottles its supposed to measure. I had to tie it on to get it to stay in place. Also, the instructions were only in German (which i don't speak), and even when using a translation program to decifer it, the instructions really didn't explain how to properly use it anyway. A waste of money. Avoid this item.

Arrived quickly and does the job I can how full my bottles are without guessing. Great!!!

Bit difficult to read ,but does give you an idea of gas left ,easy to peel on and off

Great product but the instruction booklet was totally in German - each page. If you are selling a product in another country it would be advisable at least to have instructions in the language of the country that you’re selling to! Google translate to the rescue which wasted more time which is why I have had to give it a low score for being “easy to use”.

The principle behind the indicator: As you use gas there is more space in bottle, the remaining gas expands and this causes a drop in temperature. The instructions suggest you attach the indicator near the bottom of the bottle. (I found the magnet isn't really particularly strong) The indicator will only work whilst you are actually using gas (i.e. the expansion of remaining gas causes drop in temperature) There is no point in trying to read the indicator when all gas appliances are switched off. The left half of the indicator shown levels during cold season, the right side during Summer. Hope this helps (My ratings are preliminary - will update once I've used for a while.)

Vorab: Wer die Anleitung nicht richtig ließt oder sich informiert, kann das Teil auch nicht verstehen. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich ich mir hier nur durch Unwissenheit erklären. Die Anzeige gibt einem eine etwaige Füllstandmenge an. Die kann man super ablesen, wenn man weiß, wie man es interpretieren muss! Hier eine Anleitung: Der Magnet muss unterhalb der Mittellinie an der Gasflasche angebracht werden. Im Winter sind die Balken links abzulesen. Im Sommer die rechten Balken. Die Anzeige kann erst richtig funktionieren, wenn die Gasflasche in Benutzung ist. Das ist bei mir der Fall, wenn ich die Gasflasche an der Gasheizung angeschlossen habe und Gas verbraucht wird (ACHTUNG WICHTIG). Wenn die Heizung dann ca. 10 Minuten schön Gas verbraucht hat oder eben beim Gasgrill schonmal eingeheizt wurde, kann man die Füllstandanzeige ablesen. Je kühler (bläulicher) die Farben ist, beutetet dies, dass die Gasflasche an dieser Position schon leer ist... Je wärmer die Farbe ist, desto näher kommen wir der Füllmenge. Ganz einfach :-) Lasst euch nicht von den schlechten Bewertungen irritieren. Ich hab mir das Teil trotzdem bestellt und siehe da: Es funktioniert!
