They fixed the packaging issues. This is my second order. Lathers GREAT using African net sponge. Not to say other forms of skin cleaning tools, i.e. washcloths, loofahs, etc., would not, I have only used the net sponge. The label tells you not to put the soap directly on your skin, to avoid scratching. I wet my face, put some soap in my palm and rub together with the other palm, rubbing a bit of water, to get a rich lather and remove any rough pieces that remain. Then, I apply the lather to my face and use my hands and a facial scrubber brush. I have experienced the facial "burn" after using the exfoliating brush on the scrubber. I recommend using your hands or a softer brush. Then, follow-up with a moisturizer. I would say it is worth it. My skin loves it, and I have extremely sensitive skin. It definitely cleans you.

I've been using this soap every shower for months and there still is a lot in the container. A little goes quite a long way, and the container is large. I love this stuff and have been recommending it to friends and family. The paste form of black soap is easier to work with, in my opinion. Very happy customer!

After ordering Castille soap last time because it was highly recommend, and being deceptioned that it wasn't the best all natural/organic/no preservatives soap I was looking for, I found this one. The packing was good, it was as big as it looked in the pictures, and looks like it'll last for a while. When I opened, as in the video, the cap was loose and the seal was open, but there was no signs of it being used, so it's fine in my terms. After using it, it's not a slime, but a paste that you need to use with your scrub, and not to be applied directly on the skin (you'll be wasting more that way anyways). And you don't need to use much of the paste as well. To be honest, this soap is what I was expecting. No perfumes, no preservatives, no extra ingredients for maintaining color or texture, it's just plain soap, how it should be. Not made extra foamy for your convinience, not made with a pretty colors for visuals and you can also feel and see the crumbles of the ingredients they used in the making. You feel fresh after using it, it doesn't have a strong smell. Note: I have normal, sometimes dry skin, and usually oily face. Update 9/20/24: I stopped using this soap because I noticed it dries my skin more. My husband noticed it too. Maybe if you dilute this soap or mix it in with an oil or moisturizer it might just work better.

Anything natural I love this is very good brand if sosp love it easy to use with my authentic African rag smells good not a strong scent lathers so nice it can be drying however ones u moisturizer with a body butter u are hood to go .Do not use on private area and ensure that your eyes are close because can burn and leave your eye ball dry other than that it is a yes for me

I actually had high quality black soap from Africa. Thos does not compare to it. This version of black soup has a bunch of fillers in it, to make it extremely soft. This soap does not hold a shape even with freezing. The owners give you a lot of it. So one quart will last a long time. I use this soap, mostly for my face, occasionally for my body but It falls apart so easily, makinging it hard too use it for larger portions of our body. I would recommend that the makers used more of the natural properties black soap and create a formula that allows is to hold a shape and little better. The soap does make your skin feel smooth and soft. I believe it helps with dark spots, but I cannot confirm that because I'll already have other products that i've been using dueing the same time ive been usimg this product. Also, i think this product is gentle enough to use on babies.
