Shade&Beyond 90% Shade Cloth

Utilized as exterior window shades for large bank of south facing windows. Pleasantly surprised, provides excellent reduction in solar heating while being somewhat transparent allowing views of exterior. Well made with grommets and no frayed or uneven edges. Yet to be determined how long they will last in direct sun and wind but far less expensive option than full interior shades or other exterior options. Came with a ton of connection options which I did not utilize (purchased screw in latch hooks) but nice to have the bungee cords and a ton of zip ties for other uses.

This is the right price for the right product. This sun shade provides great sunshade even in the Texas heat. The color is perfect, a mix or dark brown and black. Very easy to install with the items that are included. I've had in for over 1 year in the Texas glaring sun and it still looks new so it looks like it will be very durable for a few years. Must buy.

My patio hangs bright, beautiful and cozy because of this product. Product is great. Pricing is perfect. And, delivery time and everything... The best anyone could ask for!! My family loves it!!!

This is replacing some oversized bamboo blinds I had on my porch. The wind destroyed the blinds. I’m thinking this pergola shade cloth will fare in the wind. Best price I could find

I had an existing metal 10x10 frame and was looking for a shade to place near my pool. This shade cuts the direct sunlight down while still allowing any wind to pass through. Most tarps the wind would catch and there goes your shade. The shade is thick and durable and has held up in the hot sun, the grommets are metal and are placed close enough to one another to secure with bungee cords. Even though the shade is big, its very easy to put up for one person.

Really pleased with these sunshades. They come with three different kinds of fasteners: reusable zip ties, elastics with hooks, and elastics with balls. These allow you to hook the shades snuggly. We used zip ties at the top, and elastics with hooks on the bottom. They work great and fit great.

I ordered this for my patio because the Sun here in South Central Texas will bake my plants! Last year I utilized one of those stretchy Greenhouse type shades which worked but eventually tore because I had to stretch it around the top edges of my patio fence in order to secure it. This year I went with this pergola cover. I ordered it in a 6x16, because my patio is 8x16 and the attaching it to the balcony above me I didn't need it quite eight feet width. However, It's actually closer to 17 ft long because it would have overlapped onto my neighbor's patio. So the loose Edge I had to fold under. That is my only complaint about it! I secured it using eye hooks and stainless steel Carabiner clips. That way it's easy to take down and put up. Now I've seen some reviews on this type of product where people say that the eyelets tear. Keep in mind this is NOT a stretchy Greenhouse type material. It is meant to be pulled snug/tight but NOT, and I repeat NOT STRETCHED or you will tear the eyelets! I'm very happy with this cover, and it looks way better fit to the exact size of my patio instead of being stretched over the edges on the outside. UPDATE: so I believe it’s been a little over two years since I purchased this Pergola cover to shade my patio. It is withstood rain storms, and 50 mile an hour winds. It even made it through hurricane barrel without so much as any type of damage whatsoever. If you install it right and don’t overstretch it it will last you a long time. Great investment for the money and does the job exactly as intended.

Very happy!! Gives the shade we needed, both on the lower patio and on our west facing porch. Both could not be used in the afternoon. Purchased a 6x15 for the side of the gazebo and a 7x13 to cover the gap between the gazebo and the front of the porch...good quality and easy to install.

This is mass produced, just like all of the other similar items. If I hadn't had a spouse that was very specific about the colour and size required, I would have bought one of the $30 ones and been much happier with the quality vs price. There are a couple spots where the HDPE looks like it wasn't coloured (small beige spots), but they are out of the way and not eyesores. The grommet placement is haphazard, and along one long edge the grommets almost overlap the edging into the regular sail shade. If this was going to be under any amount of tension for us, I would have serious doubts about tears and longevity, and would have returned it right away. So for the price paid, it's merely adequate, and not worth the hassle of returning and trying to find an alternative. Unless you have a reason to buy this one in particular, save your money and go for a cheaper one. That, or go buy one of the actual proper well made sails - your call whether you want to shell out for something like that. UPDATE - Seller followed up and offered a mutually agreeable solution to our concerns of the quality of the item, and have stated they will examine product quality moving forward. I cannot speak to whether they will actually address the product quality concerns, but I cannot fault their customer service and desire to leave a happy customer. What was overall a merely adequate transaction has turned mostly positive. I have updated my rating based on this customer service interaction, from 2 stars up to 4 stars.
