On top of this, it's worth noting that the adapter lacks DolbyVision support. If you're planning to connect it to an iPad or device capable of outputting DolbyVision I would avoid this adapter (see pic attached). For SDR / HDR10 output it will work fine but it's overall performance is still worse compared to other adapters. This adapter is incapable of RGB 10bit @ 120hz in 4K, as such it should not be labeled 'HDMI 2.1' adapter.
