I have a 1999 model SUV that is pre USB compatible. This vehicle is new to me. The cigarette lighter outlets (2ea 1 in dash and one center rear console), are worn, weak and the power adaptors fall out easily. I removed the cigarette lighters because no one smokes in my vehicle and replaced it with this product. I have to say, I’m 100% pleased. I wired them directly into the power wires and works like a charm. I did not need any buck power reducer from 12vdc to 5vdc as expected. I would recommend using this product if you have the skills to remove the cigarette lighter and some basic wiring knowledge.

Jammed this in yesterday. Install was straightforward to my recently added aux fuse block. Love the power switch, though I wish there was some external indication of power to the sockets as the cover completely hides the LED to see the power state. Thankfully, you can't really power them on by accidentally pushing the cover, so cross your fingers kids...

I bought this to replace the cigarette lighter in my old truck. The lighter hole was 1" and the USB port is about 1.125"so I had to enlarge the lighter hole a bit. Maybe my old eyes are bad but I figured that the gold colored lead was positive but it is negative. Putting them on backwards didn't burn it out so my hats off to the circuit designer. I didn't think I'd need it but the on/off button is a nice feature.

Great product. Slides into the 12v outlet in most vehicles. Works as it should. Not sure it puts out what it says but could just be my setup. Overall, I would buy it again.

It charges my phone. Using USB-A to USB-C cord, phone went from 66% to 80% in less than 1 hour while the phone was playing my music library through Bluetooth and having Waze map opened in full sunlightIt does the job.Installation was easy but I had to remove the end connectors to cramp some that would fit my accessory connector.The on/off button is a must as my accessory feed is always powered.Pat on the back to me for having made a good purchase.

I purchased the 12V USB Outlet Wire USB Charger Multi Port, Dual PD3.0 USB-C and Quick Charge3.0 Car Port Socket with Power Switch, Fast Charge for Phone lPad Android Phones, Suitable for Car Boat RV Marine ATV for use on my motorcycle to replace and older cigarette litgher style power port that had failed after years of use. I installed this port after checking the battery power 13+ volts, power from the two wires at the mounting point 13+ volts and when I properly installed the port the blue LED lights came on but when I plugged in my GPS it would not power the device. I made a jumper out of an old USB wire and found that there was 5.3 volts from the USB plug and then the next day when I tried again the LED would not come on even after comfirming voltage again at the wires and the jumper also showed no voltage. Pretty sad when a device powers up once then fails. Requested an exchange in the hope that the next one will work but if it also fails I will look elsewhere for a power port.
