Very balanced hand weights.
Best hand weights available. Easy to use and more balanced than the dumbbell style. A little pricey but what high end item isn't?

High quality weights and easy to use with the Smartbar. Great for weight training and several of the Les Mills On Demand programs. I highly recommend- it's worth the cost!

I thought this was a frivolous purchase - I already had the 5, 2.5 & 1.25 sets, but this has made BodyPump much more convenient, and I've found it easier to push to higher lifting now...

Good quality
Love how they are perfect in position for holding to do shoulder work. Had rotator surgery and these are exactly what I needed for home therapy. Not only from shoulder but I can put on my feet for extra weight doing leg lifts. Not cheaply made so I can honestly recommend them.

Exactly what you need for Les Mills workouts!
These weights are perfect if you are doing the Les Mills streaming group fitness classes. They are the exact same ones that are used in the official Les Mills classes that are offered at gyms, YMCA, etc. The weights slide and lock onto the SmartBar very quickly and are easy to release as well. (Oh yeah, make sure you get the SmartBar Gen 2 if you want to maximize using these weights). The center bar in each plate makes using the weights without the bar easy as well. If you've taken any of the Les Mills classes you know that being able to transition from one weight to another is key since things are very fast paced. These weights are definitely expensive compared to regular circular weights but the compatibility with the SmartBar and the center handle really add value if you are using them for Les Mills workouts. The only potential downside I see is that these weights may not be enough for some stronger people so you may end up with smaller weights that you don't use if you'd rather have several of the large weight on the bar at the same time.

A great multi-use weight
These wights are great for use with the bar. They are quick and easy to swap out. The best thing is that these weights can be used an dumbbells. That’s less equipment your having to buy. These are great for workouts that utilize different weights.
