What a fantastic little case for bargain price. It fits like a glove and keeps the Kindle securely in it when dangled unlike some that I'd seen reviews on (see pic). Also works as it should - locks the Kindle when the cover is closed. I'd read that the green one wasn't quite the same color as the matcha Kindle so I decided to go with a pink contrasting one and I'm very glad I did.

Item was received a day later than originally forecast. Cover fits well over Generation 11 Kindle and switches on and off when opened and closed. However, as noted by other customers, the cover flap does not hold with magnets, as advertised.

I love Amazon's cases for their Kindle range, but for one thing: The back casing doesn't offer full protection to the device, leaving as it does large parts of the edges at top and bottom exposed. This has resulted in scratches to the Kindle in the past when I've been lugging it around in my bag. Plus the hard plastic means hard edges, which often feels uncomfortable to hold, particularly if like me you rest the bottom of the Kindle on your little finger. This case solves all those issues. The back isn't hard plastic, but a soft bit sturdy TPU shell which covers all the edges of the Kindle seamlessly. There are no hard edges and, being softer, is much simpler to 'install'. The bumpers to the corners provide added protection and the fact that the cutout for the charging port is raised means there's less chance of damage to it, particularly in bags. That slightly raised profile also means that the inconvenience of the power button being on the base of the Kindle is no longer an issue - accidental screen switch-offs are a thing of the past, because there's a bit of case between the control and your hand/pillow/whatever you rest your Kindle on to read. I also appreciate the lining being black - the paler colours on other cases can looo grubby quickly, but the dark colour along with the smooth, wipeable microfibre finish means it's easy to keep looking good. Talking of looking good, this case really does - it's pleasingly sturdy yet light, and the soft slightly grained faux leather finish is sleek and tactile. All this and a great price, too. As a veteran Kindle case purchaser I'm very, very impressed!

Fits perfectly and much cheaper then others

So glad I purchased this. Perfect fit and offers good protection when in my bag. I got the green cover so it stands out when I’m looking for it. It has a lovely feel to it. None slip. It can be used to prop the kindle up and a flick closes the lid with what appears to be a slight magnet fastening.
