Blackbeard for Men Instant Beard Color, Black, 3 Pack

This stuff is amazing. It is a godsend. I had been dying my mustach and beard and it was destroying my skin. I tried this stuff and THANK YOU. It is so easy to use I can't even believe it. I put it on in less than a minute. I put it on before work in the morning and I am good to go. The best part is that I leave a little gray on the edges so it looks totally natural. Now the downsides. it wears off over time but very slowly. It still looks fine after a day at work, but if I'm going out at night I might do a touch-up. The other issue is it can rub off on a towel, so I have to remember to use a tissue after a shower to get off any excess. But that's really it. It stays on well and doesn't come off on my shirt collor or pillow. I would subtract a half star for this but since I can only do 4 or 5 I will do 5 because overall I am very very happy to have found Blackbeard for Men!And also the Cap'n sends you a free dating guide book if you go to their website which is pretty funny. They have a whole pirate theme which is pretty funny and goofy videos as well.To summarize a very good product and it matches well with my beard and looks natural and really has only minor downsides but much less than dying so I am now sold, Arr! for Blackbeard.

This product could be better , by making it so it would color the hair only "the beard, eyebrow, head and sideburns " now if it did that wow, you would have something there. As for the product now I can say okay because it will not last long ; and that it will washout once you take a shower , even after It has dried on the hair , just water will wash out some of it , and if you use soap it will wash completely out of the hair, Thous far I am kind of please at this time : " MAKE IT BETTER " " IT NEED TO BE MORE PERMEANT "

I can't use chemical based dyes so I researched for alternatives. I bought Blackbeard for Men (Black) after much research. My beard is 90% white/grey, while my head (hairs) are 90% black (you get the picture how it looks. I used this product for 10 days when I was trying to grow out my beard. I applied it every morning. If I applied too much then one could tell that I colored my hair. If I applied too little then it would cover the longer beard hair but not the smaller gray hair. It will also stain the skin. I didn't know about this until my wife told me that from far my beard looks dark however, on close distance white/grey show under black hair. I also noticed other people who would look at me when I was speaking to them at work - though they couldn't/didn't say anything. I used water to wash my face and the color didn't come off (even it did, it wasn't noticeable). As another reviewer mentioned, you can only use paper towel/tissue to dry your face. If you use towel and rub your face then the color will come off. The color only lasts for a day, which wasn't an issue for me. BTW, I tried to use henna and this product at the same. The henna didn't stick because this product made my hair greasy/oily. I guess they use some greasy/oily substance so temporary color can stick to hair particles. In my opinion, If you need to touch up then this works otherwise go with another product.

Excellent for between dye touch ups. I keep one in my car. Quick and easy. Even works on my 2 day stubble that comes in grey. I'm a black man so shaving everyday can cause bumps and burns, so this works great, as it gives my skin time to heal between shaves. I just line up my stubble, apply this and it looks great. I've been using it for about almost a year now. Was skeptical at first, but use it almost everyday now instead of dye. And even if you do dye, this works great for touching ups. I ordered another brand that didn't work as well. This one is the real deal. My girl is always all over me, kissing and hugging, even sleeping in white sheets an no problems with it getting on her or on clothes. She has no clue I'm using it, she thinks I'm still dying my goatee. Only con is that it can go on a little thick and leaves my goatee hair a bit stiff. But I can wipe off the excess right when I put it on, and still have good color and natural feel. That's for black men, don't know if that works for other's as their hair is much thinner than ours. I’m allergic to other kinds of beard coloring so I tried a bottle and it works. I cant speak for other colors as I only use black but it looks natural on me and doesn’t irritate one bit! I have used the same bottle for over two months now and haven’t run out. I have my beard trimmer set to 3mm so as you see I don’t have a large beard at all. The product will wear out a bit during the day if you rub your face a lot, I don’t do that I just wanted to see if it comes off and for me it pretty much stays on all day. I do pick up a chunk of dye at the end of the applicator occasionally and it makes a black smear but that wipes off easily from your face with a tissue dabbed with alcohol and to help avoid this you can wipe the tip of the applicator before applying it. I liked it well enough that I plan to purchase more.

Lasts abouit 3-8 hrs depending on heat of the day, how often the beard area touches things. I have used it for over 7 days now, and even 3-4 hours later if I touch my beard my fingers or back of my hand would have a tint of black on it. It is basically a low grade "Dye?" in a eyebrow highlighter. It is difficult to use, for if you push down on it and then you notice the black on your skin, which is hard to clean off the skin. It appears to do better with skin, than on hair. It does stay on your skin longer than on the beard. One day i put it on about 10 am, and it was a hot day (85+F) and when I got home about 2pm (4hrs) it was totally gone. It is mostly to total gone by the time I get home after a day at work (9 hrs). I reccommend to try a good Eyebrow highlighter if you want something you have to put on often, and probably save money. I am going to try the "Just for Men" beard stuff next.

thought i would try this after getting a rash from the beard dye and i love it i can make it as dark as i want lasts all day and the next day i color as much as i want again from what i can tell it will last awhile it dose not take much and you can take a wash cloth to rub off excess even out color two thumbs up!!

Was not expecting much considering the variety of reviews good and bad but I was very impressed with this stuff. It is basically makeup for you beard. It has a mascara the applicator that is very easy to use. It goes on easy like brushing your beard and you just fill in the grey as you go. It is also resistant to smudging. You need to really rub to get a lot off so it did not stain my clothes or come off easy. You need to use soap and water to really get all of it off so it does not run or smear under normal use. It may also seem a little pricey but it depends on your individual use. I only have a goatee so one dip is all I need per use. So it is much cheaper than buying a whole beard dye kit to waste. If you have a full big beard I suppose a kit is much more economical but I put this on in the morning and off at night. I expect the one container will last me a lot longer than one dye job. Plus I can choose when to use it and can touch up during the day if needed. It is small enough for taking on the go, can’t do that with a dye box. Anyway, this is a great product that goes on easy, stays dry, and does not come off until you wash it off. I will buy again.

The product is described in the heading as “…6-pack (Black)” which is totally inaccurate. When my order arrived there was a single pack of the product. Will post another review when I try the product.
