Does precisely what it claims but don't make the common mistake.
I read a lot of recent reviews here before selecting this cooler. I was a little nervous because many people were describing various temperature problems. Then, when it arrived I learned what they were doing wrong. First and what should be obvious, this is not a typical refrigerator freezer. It doesn't work that way and wasn't designed to be that. Understanding this fact will make this product not only work for your needs but a real value. I learned that what most people do wrong is they plug it in and expect it to come down to temperature right away, empty, and in a few hours. It takes at least 24 to 36 hours for the temperatures inside to stabilize when you first plug it in. Then it mostly works like any other refrigerator freezer. The first thing you must realize is that like most refrigeration devices, it must stay upright. Often during shipping, these get turned upside down or on their side. When you get it, you need to let it stand upright, unplugged, for at least 24 hours. Then, you should load non-perishable things like water bottles into both sides, set it on Max, at the lowest temperature, and let it work. In about 8 hours at most, it comes to the temperature set and stays in the range of one to four degrees for the duration. Once the desired temp is reached, you can reset the temp higher and switch it to Eco mode. I'm using mine as a multipurpose device. I keep it plugged in inside my home, using it as an additional fridge/freezer, and when I need it for travel, I just put it in my SUV and plug it in. The construction is solid, with heavy-duty handles and wheels. The freezer side is larger than the fridge side, but both are really adequate. It has an interior light which makes it very convenient to see what's inside. It's a little on the heavy side but not a deal breaker at this price point. It's very quiet when running, but like most refrigeration devices, it puts off a little heat. One major improvement would be to reverse the operation design by putting the controls on the left side, and the "wheeling" handle on the side opposite the wheels and heavy compressor. Again, not a deal breaker. I really like the feature of the lid having a two-step tight seal. As far as temperature control is concerned, one buyer claimed he could never get the fridge to come down to safe storage temp but I think this was because he didn't give it enough time, tried to use it empty, and didn't let it set upright overnight in the beginning. Just remember, when it's delivered, let it stand for 24 hours, then plug it in, put a few non-perishable things like water and sodas on both sides, set your temp, and it will stabilize and stay there within hours. When I move mine to the SUV, it maintains the temp in a safe range so long as I don't leave it open, put hot things inside, or leave it off for too long. When you first put room-temperature things inside, it will take a few hours to bring them down to temp, so don't think it's not working. As far as cold foods go, frozen items do not defrost when first loaded, and if your food's cold to start, it stays at temp or gets colder depending on your settings. I'm very satisfied with mine. It's been operating nonstop for about six weeks now with no problems, so I recommend this item.

Review After 4 Off-Grid Camping Trips
I’ve used this fridge for over 4 camping trips now. The big handle broke off on my first trip, and customer service promptly took care of the issue. (I use Fahrenheit; any degrees will be according, sorry my metric friends) The app for the phones is very easy to understand, and you can always lock/change the temperature from your device so you don’t have to worry about pesky hands changing the temperature. In temperatures reaching over 100 degrees, this refrigerator kept eggs, chicken, jelly, and many other perishables at 11 degrees, sometimes even as low as 5 but the fan was working over time to keep everything cool. It did not put much stress on my solar generator as it is low wattage. It comes with cables to plug it into the wall and into a car a/c slot. Both work exceptionally well, but I find myself using the car adapter more as the cooler naturally uses less power which is helpful for long days with little sun. I took the divider out all together and keep everything the same temperature, it got difficult to monitor how cold things were on the non-cooled side vs the ‘freezing’ side. With the divider out I knew everything inside was the one temperature which was displaying on the outside. Pros: - temperature Locking feature - uses phone as a remote, so you don’t look silly bending in front of your friends to change or check the temperature. - low sound on Eco-mode - does not consume much electricity - lots of space but easy enough to fit in the back seat or trunk of any car. Cons - using the divider, because you can’t tell how cold things are on the non cooling side and prevents a lot of usable food space. - loud if not using eco-mode - the little touch screen is hard to use if it’s sunny out if the Bluetooth isn’t working After my positive encounter with customer service with my questions and issues I would highly recommend this unit to my friends and family and the name is on it when friends and acquaintances ask when I’m out.

Use as a frig & freezer at the same time, no seperate control
I used this for a 17 day camping trip. This unite can be used as both a frig & freezer at the same time. It has a removable divider if you want it to be all the same. However, you can not set the temperature of each side independently. I finally stopped worrying about the actual temp & just set it so the frozen food stayed frozen & the other side-in my case above the compressor, the food didn't freeze. What worked for me was having the freezer at 11-13 degrees & the frig part was then in the 30's. The unite seems pretty well made & It worked well with a power supply. It was in the back of my covered pickup truck & I was on some very ruff, dusty roads with outside temps from the 30's to upper 80's. It kept my food frozen on one side & cold on the other. For a lower price unite I was impressed with how well it worked. UPDATE Be advised, the measurements given in the description are roughly the "packing" measurements, not the frig/freezer measurements.

Better than I expected
I bought this to take on a camping trip where power was not available. I plugged it in to my solar powered generator which is only 400w max. The cooler ran perfectly, kept everything very cold, was quiet and was easy to separate fridge and freezer. Capacity was good for a couple people for a few days, any more than that and you might want to consider a bigger one. Best part was it didn’t drain the juice out of the generator when the sun went down. It only turned itself on when the temperature dropped below the set threshold. Can’t wait to take it to the beach this summer

Excellent refrigerator and freezer.
I bought this for camping and it works amazingly well. Very accurate temperature, easy up move with the handles and large wheels. Feels very robust and well made. The divider can be removed dor full capacity.. Overall it's a solid kit.

Constantly beeping showing code E5, very poor customer service
I bought this with tons of excitement to have this option. A friend has the same one and likes it a lot. The first time I traveled with it, which was about a 6 hour drive, after 1.5 hours it started beeping and showing error E5. No matter what we did, moved stuff around, shifted the cooler, it wouldn’t stop. Needless to say I didn’t use it the rest of the trip. I have tried to contact customer service because my return option to Amazon had expired. Every time I write to customer service they act as though they haven’t even read my emails. I keep having to explain what is going on to answer their canned email. “We’ll do everything we can to help you resolve this…”. That is a bunch of malarkey. I have emailed them at least 4 times, supposedly to “Stella” and am getting no where. At this point I feel like I have no option but to keep the cooler and try it again next time I need it. Maybe I’ll do a sample trip or two to test it. And I have kept all my emails to I have the proof I have been attempting to “get this resolved.” Incredibly frustrated and based on this will not recommend this product.

Great for travel or just getting frozen food home in 100+ degree heat
I have a ridiculous number of food allergies and have to bring food anytime I travel. This freezer works great for long car rides, then I plug it in at the hotel. If I precool it, frozens stay completely solid. Also, I leave it in the trunk, and when I'm doing normal grocery shopping in the insane summer heat, it keeps cold foods cold, even if I don't plug it in ahead of time. Fortunately, when I forget to unplug it, the freezer turns off when the car is off, so I've never had any trouble with the car battery from it. Both cords are plenty long enough. And it turns out I can buy a replacement cord, since I left mine in a hotel room. Kicking myself about that, but it's better than having to replace the unit. I never got the app to work. But I gave up pretty quickly, and that might just be user error. It works quite well without the app.

What a life (travel) - saver!
Bought this in 2023 and waited to do this review. I couldn’t be more happier with this purchase. I had to find a cooler/freezer because my trailer fridge quit working while on my annual 5 month trip in 2023. It has been an amazing fridge. I am STILL dealing with the warranty on my trailer fridge, so I haven’t camped without it. I use as a fridge, so I can’t speak to the freezer. Keeps my perishables cold. The handles are sturdy/stout. Love the interior light when you open it in the dark. Secondary, longer handle to wheel it around. Bluetooth. Temp reading on the top. Easy to raise/lower. Runs great off my solar outlet 24-7.
