Blends beautifully and looks natural
I really love this contour stick. The shade is perfectly cool-toned, so it gives a natural shadow effect without looking orange or muddy. It blends out very easily and doesn’t leave any streaks, even when I use a brush instead of a sponge. The formula is lightweight, creamy, and sits nicely on the skin without getting patchy throughout the day. A little goes a long way, so the product will last a while. For the price, the quality is honestly amazing.

Game Changer
As someone with fair, cool-toned skin, finding a contour product that doesn't lean orange can be a challenge. The SHEGLAM Sun Sculpt Liquid Contour Stick in Soft Tan has been a game-changer. Key Benefits: Cool-Toned Shade: Soft Tan offers a subtle, cool undertone that mimics natural shadows, providing a sculpted look without the warmth that many other products impart. Blendability: The cream-gel formula blends seamlessly into the skin, allowing for buildable coverage that doesn't disrupt foundation underneath. Long-Wearing: Once applied, it stays in place throughout the day without fading or settling into fine lines. Considerations: Application Method: The sponge-tip applicator is convenient for precise placement but may require additional blending with a brush or sponge to achieve a seamless finish. Final Thoughts: For those seeking a cool-toned contour that delivers a natural, sculpted appearance without the orange undertone, the SHEGLAM Sun Sculpt Liquid Contour Stick in Soft Tan is a standout product. Its blendability, longevity, and affordability make it a worthy addition to any makeup routine

Natural, Smooth, and Stunning!
I am genuinely impressed with the SHEGLAM Contour! The formula is smooth, blendable, and gives a flawless sculpted look without being too heavy. It melts right into the skin and looks super natural, no harsh lines. The color is perfectly cool-toned for contouring, and the pigmentation is just right: buildable and easy to control. It gives definition to the face in seconds and makes the cheekbones, jawline, and nose pop effortlessly. What makes it even better is the sleek packaging and sponge-tip applicator that makes applying so simple and mess-free.

LOVE Tawny shade! Perfect for fair skin.
This might be my favorite make up product. It blends so easily and you really can’t mess up. The TAWNY color is so good if you have fair skin. it’s hard to find something that doesn’t look orange or even grey. it’s so natural looking. You can use it to bronze or contour. Has more of a red underdone which is what my skin naturally goes to when it gets sun. Definitely will be repurchasing this.

On my way to the trashcan with this
This product is OK - SHEGLAM Sun Sculpt Cool Toned Liquid Contour Stick. I am honestly not sure why this has such good reviews. It is probably because of the price point, but that is it. Anyone who is interested enough in makeup to do contours should invest in a better contour stick, and I will explain why below. For context, I have very light skin with neutral undertones (I tan, but I do not go out in the sun, so my skin tone is very fair). So I purchased this in the "Soft Tan" variant. Side note, but I probably would not recommend this variant for neutral to warm undertones because it doesn't sit right with me; looking back, I should probably have purchased "Golden Sun." My hair is naturally a medium brown shade but it has been dyed to a golden brown. With those things considered, some contour shades may look better than others, but there's my opinion on that. Here's my detailed review, with pros and cons and usage advice. CON: First of all, this product blends very poorly. I kind of like the applicator; it's a spongy kind of material that you just dab onto your skin. I dabbed it onto my cheekbones about three times each. I applied it after using my favorite tinted CC cream. First I tried spreading it with my finger, and the product COMPLETELY wore off. I was actually surprised that by the end of my makeup look, I could not see the contour at all. I get the impression that this contour is very poorly pigmented - you'll need to use much extra to get the desired contour. However, if your CC cream, foundation, etc. is tinted, you will absolutely need to buy a darker contour - since the pigment is poor, this contour is very light in appearance regardless of the shade you're seeing in the product images. I bought a Physician's Formula contour/blush stick and this is the product I am currently using, and it's not much pricier, applies creamier, and blends so much nicer with my CC cream or my foundation. It also has a lovely scent. The Sheglam contour has no scent. ADVICE: I would suspect that this contour blends much better if you use a decent quality brush. But because of the poor pigment, you'll likely need to use a darker shade than you expected, or use more product, causing this to run out faster. This contour is *decent* if you do not use a tinted product beforehand. I decided that for the sake of this review, I would apply the contour onto my hand to see its actual shade. It still has a poor pigment, but the contour is visible on my skin. It feels like a lightweight formula and it does not easily rub off. HOWEVER, I also tried applying my Neutrogena Serum Foundation onto my hand along with three dabs of the contour, blended with my finger, and then used a little bit of my Skinfood Peach setting powder, and the contour nearly completely went invisible. Not good - your setting powder may reduce the effectiveness of this particular contour! However, I could also see why someone would want this, for that more "natural" look. Good or a bad thing, depending on the user. CON: I also realize that the application of this contour would be trickier if you contour your nose, forehead, and jawline. Because you have to dab the product on, and because of the poor... spreadability? Your contour might look poor quality depending on the area. I tried it on both my forehead and jawline - it looked bad to me. I also could not imagine dabbing my nose with spots of contour and trying to blend it. Overall, I would not repurchase this. If anything, I am on my way to the trashcan with this thing in hand, unfortunately. That's not to say I wouldn't recommend Sheglam products - the blush was a lot better, for instance.

Great for contouring under chin
I love this stuff. This makeup is super nice and creamy, the applicator is perfect for the purpose, and you don't need a lot when using it. It blends really nicely and the extreme cool tone is great for my double chin and to pronounce my cheek bones more. Will definitely buy again!

Tawny Amber GREAT for BRONZER on FAIR, COOL skin & Soft Tan GREAT for CONTOUR on fair, cool skin!
I have very fair, very cool toned skin. I struggle finding good bronzer and contour shades. Anything with even a HINT of warmth looks even warmer on me (like like those with warm undertones who use anything even slightly cool looks even cooler toned on them). I had heard really good things about the SheGlam Sun Sculpt in the shade Soft Tan for CONTOUR on fair skin, so I came to Amazon to get it and give it a try. It looked like it was a nice, cool toned shade that would actually show up cool toned on me. So I was excited to try it! I figured I’d take a look at the other shades when I was making the purchase, and that’s when I saw they had a few new shades, one being the shade Tawny Amber. It looked like the perfect rosy brown shade I search high and low for! Of course, BRONZER is meant to warm up the skin. But, with my fair skin, when I get sun, I naturally get a kind of rosy toned brown color. I don’t turn a warm bronze color. So using most bronzers looks really unnatural on me. But, I’m also very fair, so when I apply foundation, especially a full coverage one, to be left with a blank canvas, I need something to add some color and definition back into my face. I’ve tried SO MANY different bronzers. Once I realized any that are even remotely warm toned will NOT work for me, that helped a lot with me saving money since I wasn’t wasting it on ones that wouldn’t work for me. But, I didn’t have many options since there’s not a lot of rosy toned bronzers. Tawny Amber looked like a perfect mix of brown with some rosiness to it that would look really natural on me. I was hoping it wouldn’t be too warm toned, but was excited to give it a try! In person, both shades are close but not exact - but I feel like that’s more about my undertone than it is about the images. In person just looking at the product on the sponge tips, the colors look accurate to what I saw here on the product page. But, once I apply them, they do look slightly different. The Soft Tan has a little warmth to it. It isn’t quite as cool as it seemed. But again, with me being VERY cool toned, even the littlest bit of warmth in something is going to show through even more. But, once it’s blended out, it definitely looks more cool toned and works well as contour for me. The Tawny Amber also had a little more warmth to it than I was hoping. But, once blended out, it looks like a beautiful rosy brown shade that looks very natural as bronzer on me. So I was really happy with both once I applied them! The components of these are nice! They are plastic, hexagonal tubes that are a soft, cream kind of color that has a frosted gradient look to it. The top twists off to reveal a pointed sponge tip that you can easily dot onto the cheeks. When the sponge tip goes into the bottom of the tube, there’s a piece inside that I guess is kind of like a stopper to keep too much product from coming out. I was worried how that’ll work once I’ve used these a lot and they start to get low - will I still be able to get product on the sponge? Because with that stopper in there, it seems like once it gets low and the product isn’t hitting that spot, I wonder how it gets the product? But only time will tell. So far, I’ve been using both shades regularly for 5 months and neither one seems like I’m getting less product than I have been getting from the start. So I’m happy about that. You get enough product on each sponge tip where you can use the tip to dot it on your cheeks. That’s how I’ve been preferring it when I apply the Tawny Amber shade. I take the pointed tip, and do a couple tiny dots. Then I take my fave brush for any liquid/cream product (Elf Putty Brush) and dab the product out. I stamp the brush over the dots to spread the color out where I want it, and then keep lightly stamping to blend it to where I want it. Doing it this way, no makeup lifts underneath at all. It blends out easily. I prefer doing dots on one side, blending that out, then doing the dots on the other side. I have tried it where I apply the dots to both sides and blend out one side then go to the other, and I’m still able to blend the other side easily, but I can tell it has kind of started to set so it isn’t QUITE as easy, but still easy enough where I got it blended out nice and even. I also tried applying some to the back of my hand (stamping the sponge onto the back of my hand, then dabbing my brush into it to pick some product up and spreading it evenly on the brush) then going in and applying it on my cheeks. This worked well to, but I felt like I wasted a decent amount of product doing it this way. I had to keep putting more on the back of my hand to pick up more product. But this is a good way to do it if you feel like it’s too pigmented or want a slight wash of color. When applying the Soft Tan shade for contour, I can dot the applicator where I want it and then use a small brush to blend it out to keep it right where I want it. But, my preferred way is to take a small, thin but fluffy brush and dab it onto the sponge tip applicator to pick up a LITTLE bit of product, then I buff it into the area I want definition. This way, it gives me definition while still looking natural (and, I’m sure most of us know, contour can easily look really weird and unnatural! It only takes a small amount to get a little definition). Applying it this way, helps me keep it where I want it and only apply a small amount. Like I said, I can do a dot or 2 directly with the applicator, but I feel I blend out longer when doing it that way because it’s more product than I’d apply just using the small brush and dabbing it onto the applicator then my cheeks. Like I said, they don’t lift up any of my makeup underneath. They’ve worked well with all different formulas and finishes of foundation I’ve used them with. They blend easily on top of all of them without lifting any of the foundation or looking uneven or patchy. It’s a nice, smooth, even look of color. I don’t usually use powder to set my makeup because I have dry skin and feel it’s usually unnecessary. But if I apply a foundation that’s looking a little too dewy, I’ll sometimes use powder. A few times I set my face with powder but forgot to apply this first, so I applied this over the powder and it still blended easily! They dry down on their own. I don’t need to set them with powder to keep them from transferring and they last all day! But, I have dry skin, so that might be different for those with normal or oily skin. Overall, I’m really happy with these! The formulas are nice, pigmented, easy to work with, look nice and even when blended out, and have great lasting power! The Tawny Amber is PERFECT for my fair, cool toned skin to use as bronzer! I’m definitely going to be repurchasing it so I always have it on hand! I’ve used it every day since I got it 5 months ago! I also really like the contour Soft Tan. I don’t ALWAYS contour, but when I do, this has been the one I’ve reached for since I got it. It’s just so easy to work with and blend out and still look natural and not like I have a stripe of contour on my face!
