This is the first beard color I've tried and I'm impressed. It covers well, looks natural, is easy to apply, doesn't make a mess, and doesn't come off onto your hands after you let it try. I tend to touch my beard throughout the day. It will fade a bit where you tend to touch it, but it won't leave color on your hands.

This stuff is great. I'm an Abraham Lincoln presenter, and when I started, I used "Just for Men" hair dye on my beard. One of the other presenters that I met told me about BlackBeard and it has been a game changer. I don't have the worry and stress of dying it, getting it washed out correctly, taking a shower right afterwards, etc. This stuff goes on without much hassle and comes out easily. It stays in for several hours. It's a great project. At my last show, a teenager who was helping with the crew asked me how I'd changed my beard color so fast!

The color lasts really well. It doesn't rub off easily - in fact it can take 2 to 3 washings to get it completely out. Yes, it does make the hair a little stiff & sticky, but I can minimize that feel by wiping my goatee a little with a towel after applying. That does remove some of the color, but also makes it look more natural. My only complaint (and the reason for minus 1 star) is I really wish they would make an actual medium brown. The dark brown is too dark, & the light/medium brown looks like it's really just light brown.

It's ok. Does It's job. However, a bit too temporary for me - rubs out to quickly.

By far the best on the market, it actually matches my hair color. I bought other brands that say the color of my hair but when you put it on is black and blotchy, this stuff is amazing, especially if you're trying to fill in ball spots. I love this product so much that I never do reviews but this one deserves it. I can't go without it after using it and it actually lasted in your beard for up to two days sometimes after washing it.

Not good! It will darken you burns and beard but very blotchy and hard to apply evenly. All it is is a mascara brush labeled a mustache and beard brush.

Excellent for between dye touch ups. I keep one in my car. Quick and easy. Even works on my 2 day stubble that comes in grey. I'm a black man so shaving everyday can cause bumps and burns, so this works great, as it gives my skin time to heal between shaves. I just line up my stubble, apply this and it looks great. I've been using it for about almost a year now. Was skeptical at first, but use it almost everyday now instead of dye. And even if you do dye, this works great for touching ups. I ordered another brand that didn't work as well. This one is the real deal. My girl is always all over me, kissing and hugging, even sleeping in white sheets an no problems with it getting on her or on clothes. She has no clue I'm using it, she thinks I'm still dying my goatee. Only con is that it can go on a little thick and leaves my goatee hair a bit stiff. But I can wipe off the excess right when I put it on, and still have good color and natural feel. That's for black men, don't know if that works for other's as their hair is much thinner than ours. Problem is it goes away with time and make shirt dirty. But it’s good color especially if someone have allergy to other colors
