Dorman 926-408 Torque Converter Lock-Up Solenoid Compatible with Select Subaru Models (OE FIX)

I was having issues with lights on my dash and passing emissions test and after scanning I needed only new solenoid for my 2014 Crosstrek. It was a process to take the valve body apart and turned out I needed 2 and had to fix a ground but after installing and putting back together it worked like a charm and saved me a ton of money.

This fixed my 2014 Subaru Forester's P2763 P0900 codes. Free next day shipping was excellent too. Decent instructions included, but how to videos were better for me. Seems to be a quality product, we will see if it lasts as long as the original.

These solenoids were an absolute lifesaver for my 2015 Subaru Outback. I had the dreaded “Christmas tree” dashboard situation with nearly every warning light coming on along with several transmission-related diagnostic codes. Most shops would have wanted to replace the entire valve body, and the repair bill probably would have been more than the value of the car itself.Thankfully, these allowed me to replace just the failed lock-up solenoid instead of the whole assembly. After installation and completing the relearn/learning process, the transmission went back to shifting and running normally again.This repair literally saved me thousands of dollars and kept my 220,000-mile Outback on the road. If you’re dealing with similar Subaru CVT issues, this is definitely worth looking into before replacing the entire valve body.

Worked great. Easy install. 10mm socket and clean work surface. Electrical tester to test ohms to identify which ones need to be replaced. Too easy.

Electrical terminals are loose and defective and poorly soldered connecting wires (solder oozing down the loose wires). Missed my return date to return the item. No I would not buy it again or if I did try again -- I'd open the package immediately to inspect it and return it. I found the other sellers of this Subaru solenoid's to be higher quality, more like OEM. I have no problem with Dorman. Most of the time I get good products that are Dorman. Will add a photo later.

Installed this today and it worked like a charm. Very easy job for anybody with minimal mechanical experience...if you've done a brake job, you can replace this solenoid. It looked exactly the same as the original and fit perfectly. Absolutely incredible value compared to $3000 job by Subaru or $1800 for the entire valve body with solenoids from Subaru. If I observe any problems, I will definitely update this review with details. So, if you don't see an update, then it's still working with no problems.

Fixed my check engine light issue fixed the transmission fluid hot issues

This did not work super well in my 2014 Forester. It fits right in, it's an easy install (once you have the throttle body out), but it just didn't fix the issues I was having, and the Christmas tree of lights showed back up on my dash within a few days of driving.Now, I'm not much of a mechanic, so I'm not confident there wasn't some mistake on my part, and Dorman stood behind their product and accepted a return, so I think it still warrants three stars regardless.A better mechanic who knows what they're doing might have a vastly different experience than I did, so hopefully I'm an outlier. I really want to see repair parts made for issues like this where a bad OEM design can be fixed with a cheap aftermarket part.

Holy smoke my guys!! This is great. What a money saver. It took me 2.5 hours to do this in my driveway with the help of a YouTube video. They wanted thousands to replace my torque converter but I was able to replace this and saved all that glorious cash!!!! Way to go Doorman!!! New customer for everything I need now

スバルCVTのロックアップソレノイド修理に使えます。(TR580、TR690ミッション共通)C型のゴムが付属しないので、元々ついているものを再使用しました。(TR580はゴムが元々ない？)中華ソレノイドが1.5万キロしか持たなかったので、こちらに変えてみました。今のところ問題なく動いていますが、今後問題があれば追記します。
