I have several of the Hall Crystal flutes and every one of them is a stellar product. Despite its appearance, it is remarkably durable. It's made of tempered glass, so it's not as fragile as it looks. It plays beautifully. If you have been a bamboo side-blown flute player, you'll be impressed with how well these flutes play. I have a variety of bamboo flutes, but they do not have the 2-and-a-half octaves range that these have. The finger holes and embrochure are raised slightly, making it easier to get a tight seal on the holes compared to bamboo and the raised embrochure hole makes positioning your lips consistently super easy.I highly recommend this product.
