Now I really like to use a balm or lotion that works hard on the pores to remove all aspects of dirt and oil. I love this cleansing balm as it feels luxurious on the skin. Don't need to use a lot of it either. This balm works fabulously to remove any trace of makeup whilst also hydrating it. After massaging in, I could see my make up dissolving in it. It is wonderful to see it turn to an oil consistency and then for it to melt away your makeup. Once it's lifted the makeup I then use a hot cloth to cleanse the product from my skin. It's a lovely soothing way to cleanse each night. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too expensive but very gentle on my skin *by A***I on 23 May 2023* I find this cleanser really soothing to use. By using an almond sized amount, it quickly melts onto dry skin to turn into a dry oil which helps to remove any make up and then is very easily rinsed off with water. I really like the texture of it - it isn't something that turns into a runny liquid so is easy to work into the skin without worrying about it dripping. It mentions that it removes waterproof make up but also has a warning that you're to avoid contact with the eyes so I tend do rub it into my skin (giving myself a bit of a massage) and rinsing off with a wet facecloth and then rinsing the face cloth and gently rub my eyes which works for the mascara I use. I don't find it drying on my skin but I still use a moisturiser afterwards. Downsides for me are the fact it's in a container so contaminates if putting finger in it - a little spatula would be good. It's also very expensive. I usually use Murad cleanser which is £36 for 200ml compared to this which would work out as £140 for 200ml even though I'm using an equal amount of each. I do like that there is the option of the smaller jar though to try it out before buying the larger one.
