Packable, lightweight and modular power.
Purpose - Backpacking Power I bought this as part of a modular set of gear, this being the power piece. I needed something small, light and well built. I am after all taking this out into the Arizona wilderness. Desert, forests, dead volcanoes, lol. This is well built, and exactly as described. It is compatible with several other modular options from NESTOUT as well as having a water resistant zipper, and made with durable materials. Ample room for storing the other pieces of your kit inside. I have the 5000mAh single battery, and the lantern. Both fit inside the storage securely and it zips up without any issues. This thing is very versatile. Charging was simple and you get simple to read LED display inside the zippered compartment. Once I get this outside and put some use on it, I will update the review if there are any issues. But all I see is value for my purpose. It fit nicely into one of the external zippers pouches on my Baltero65 as well.

Lightweight panel great for moto-camping
Love this panel. Easy to pack up and does what it says on the tin. Charges my devices and battery backups perfectly.

A solid solar panel, works for most small electronics
I use it as an emergency power source for my small electronics and GPS unit via the rechargeable Nestout battery. Thats right in the wheelhouse for this solar panel. Ruggedness: Seems well put together, and of high quality materials. That being said, the velcro fastened legs used to prop up the device so it can properly face the angle of the sun could be a little more sturdy. You will need a solid surface if you are going to use them. All in all, I like the look of this panel. It just says "I'm ready for the outdoors!". Charging time: It fully charged the Nestout 15k mAh battery from 40 to 100% in a period of about 7-hours. Needs full sun, and you might have to move it around to get the full charging effect. I recommend the 15k mAh battery because you can charge a smartphone or GPS multiple times with it. There is a lighter and smaller version as well, but I like the longer lasting battery power of the 15k. Portability: Packs away easily in most 60-90l hiking packs. With the 15K mAH battery it is a little hefty, but not unmanageable. You can pack the cables, battery, and any other accessories inside the pouch of the solar panel to save space. There is a way to charge the panel as you go, by securing to a backpack but I'm not sure how effective it is. Value for money: You could probably find better panels out there, but I can't argue with the price of this unit. Its priced about right, and fits the need. I love this device and the battery that i purchased separately. With the long term unreliability of the US power grid being a concern of mine, its important to have a backup option. Plus, you can take this wherever you go, even on vacation and have a reliable option to keep your devices charged!

Works great, very cool, but overpriced
Super cool, very cleverly designed. Works well. Instructions are in Japanese. Only reaches advertised charging capacity with both ports being used. Minus one star for price, way too much when compared with competitor products.

Works Great!!
This solar panel works as advertised. I'm not entirely sure how accurate the LED screen is with the power its receiving, but it does charge the power bank I have within a decent amount of time (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours). The system folds up and secures your accessories, saving hella room for additional gear. I have the entire system (solar panel, power bank, cord, tri-pod, lamp) attached to the back of my battle belt. Definitely take the time and spend the money on this addition, completely worth it.

Very handy and simple to use
I have several portable solar panels for different occasions and purposes but, the one thing that separates this one from others is the handy pouch to carry a battery power pack and cords. This 28W panel is also compact enough to strap onto a backpack or place inside. With backpacking, any added weight is not desirable but, if you’re going to be roughing it for a few days or more in the wilderness and need a power source, then this would be a good contender. BUT, if you are going to be where there’s going to be an issue with having enough direct sunlight for effective solar charging then maybe taking several power packs would be more effective and logical. I like this solar charging panel and its portability. The output reading is bright enough and easy to see how much sunlight you’re getting and it does have two USB slots for dual charging capabilities. The only thing I do not like is the lack of a Type C port. I’m assuming it has to do with the type of solar power converted they’re using so it’s not a deal breaker for me. Hopefully they will come out with an updated version, which I would gladly buy IF it’s not too much more expensive. Overall I like this portable solar power charging system and the quality of the design and materials is pretty good. So, if you’re into backpacking, hiking, camping, or prepping then I recommend it. Other than hiking and backpacking, this panel is also part of my bug out gear list. You never know when you gotta make a run for it…
