My terrapin loved it. He was apprehensive to get on at first but now he likes it. It's good, very large so ideal for larger terrapins. Plus there is enough room for him to grow. Easy to set up. Got delivered quickly. Happy overall, especially for how much you pay it's good quality so far.

Had problems finding something thats suitable for a large turtle, he's over 30cm wide. Thankfully he fits! and can rotate on this platform. He's quite the fan infact. The suckers probably would work, but for the fact that the lad likes to thrash around and cause chaos. Even through all of his chaos it stays in one piece though! He loves hanging out underneath holding the poles. even sleeping with one foot attached. The ramp bit could be wider but it can easily be diy'd to add stuff to make it so. I've considered adding zip ties to the legs to keep the platform up but gone against it. The way it floats on the four posts actually helps get his big boy self up there.

This looked so good in my tank, was a little big for the size of it (and for the size of my Musk turtles), but that was my fault lol The main issue I had with it, was even though it was shoved right up to the side of the tank, it left a gap at the edges that my turtles were determined to go behind, constantly getting stuck. It was a similar issue with the height of the water, it didn't raise the platform high enough, so that my turtles were getting their shell stuck underneath the middle section and struggling to get out. It's great quality, nice and sturdy, but I did have a few issues.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐☆ 4/5 – Attractive, functional, and a good basking option I’m pleased with the Penn‑Plax Reptology turtle pier — it floats nicely and gives my turtles a comfortable spot to rest and bask above the water. The design is decorative and natural-looking, which makes the tank look more appealing than plain plastic platforms. Installation was easy and repositioning the platform is simple when I clean the tank. My turtles seem willing to use it regularly, which is the main thing. The only small caveat is that if you have a larger turtle or several turtles at once, the floating platform can shift a bit or feel slightly unstable. Overall — for small to medium turtles, or as a supplementary basking spot — it’s a very good, balanced choice between aesthetics and function.

Absolutely brilliant turtles love it

This is a large floating platform much bigger than I had realized however our large turtle loves it. It does sink slightly on whatever side hes on but it always rectified itself. The only downside is the suction pads are not great and didnt work at all on our sand lining the bottom of his tank. Really good value for money. Very happy would definitely buy again.

If you have an adult turtle - over 6 inches do not buy this product! The platform will sink into the water instantly - it simply isn’t buoyant enough to hold larger turtles up. Also when your turtle is swimming it is easily going to knock the legs around as the suction isn’t strong enough. If like me you have looked long and hard for a good enough platform that will hold an adult turtle then please do not buy this product.

Worked for about 30 minutes and know just sinks when the terrapin gets on. Will be returning

Buen tamaño, se adapta a la profundidad por si mismo aunque esta cambie. A las tortuguitas les encanta. Robusto y bien echo

I have purchased different platforms for our turtle but they ended up not working well (the magnet ones) - I have had this for quite sometime now and it is perfect for our turtle. He feels very secure basking on it and it is very sturdy and goes up and down with the water level - can highly recommend

Sympa pour ma tortue ! Bon produit, qui a l'air solide et parfait pour durer dans le temps en plus d'être jolie ! Au delà de mes espérance ! Juste domage qu'il n'y ai pas une rampe un peu plus longue pour atteindre le bas de l'aquarium :-)

I have looked for years for a good, stable floating dock/log for my two False Mississippi Map turtles. One of my turtles wasn't having luck getting on and staying dry with my old dock so I knew I needed to start looking again (shell condition issues). This product is awesome! I love how big it is and how well it fit into my 50 gallon aquarium. I did not like the legs. They were ugly with the extra bar towards the base and the legs only held it in place not up. After being frustrated that the suction cups weren't working and the bar was ugly I just took it apart and put the dock and ladder in. My filter has a strong current so it helps keep in in the one end of the aquarium. You can see in the pictures that both of my turtles fit on it together and it does not sink. Reading reviews before I bought this I was worried it may sink with both of them on it, but so far, so good! Now my turtles have extra space to swim and I don't have to look at the legs/bar that originally came with the dock. I also like that the dock is a hard plastic because I can just throw it in the dishwasher once and a while to really get it clean! One thing I can't understand in the design is the gully for rocks. This is a floating dock so WHY would you want to add weight to it? This is my biggest complaint about the product. Now it's just empty and a waste of space. The only weight added to this dock should be the turtle(s). This is also why looking at pictures I thought the legs of this dock held up the platform-they could carry the weight of turtle(s) and the rocks. I was wrong- it truly is a floating dock. Works really well for what I needed but a lot of the parts I didn't end up using. Really glad it is SO big and stays afloat. 2021: I ordered a 2nd one because my turtles need to be separated. It is painted very bright colors compared to my first one. Just want to warn ppl that you may get a Christmas dock lol (3rd picture).
