Excellent buy. Helped my kitty. She is a picky eater but she so loved this. The flavor is very appealing to her. She always looks forward to this daily treat that’s not only delicious to her taste buds but also helps her allergies.

This Lysine really works with helping with the immune system. My cats bloodwork proves it! He started out getting about 1/2 of the recommended dose for his weight until we (vet included) saw (visually) improvements and decreased the amount to 1 treat (hate calling it that) 4 times a day. His immune system is still weak but his numbers (wbc, Lym, Mono, Neu and others ), are now much closer to the "normal ranges"! I personally am grateful for this product and will continue to use it in the future. My vet has even recommended we increase the dose now and retest in a month! oh, my cat is a very pick eater and will only consume "chicken". He doesn't really care for the taste of these, but with the other 3 pet honesty products he get with it, he quickly chomps it down and devours the rest! He is always coming to me to get more!!!! He knows which cabinet they are in and will sit by it when it's time for what I call, "his meds".

UPDATE 11/27/2025: Formula does what it claims. I have been successful at feeding several of these treats to my cat by stuffing 3-4 treats at a time into a cold pate meatball and sprinkled with kibble (Important to use cold pate to hold the meatball shape). I used to add a few treats to the meatball too but made my cat only want the treats and not eat the entire meatball. I would substitute one meatball for one meal until he ate a total of 12 treats for 12 lbs of weight (3-4 meatballs in total per day). Note, portion is 1 tbsp per feeding. Only after all meatballs have been eaten do I resume his regular meals for remainder of day. Several small meals per day prevents over-feeding and keeps your cat healthier and trim just like humans!😆Lol Regardless, my cat recently had been very sick with vomiting due to several factors and caused his leaky eye to return. After vet used anti-convulsant and bland diet for a few days, my cat was better. Then I slowly added his regular food to diet w/o these treats. By end of week, I added these treats in pate meatballs again. The Lysine in this formula coupled with the probiotics and fish oil have healed his leaky eye and improved his digestion. His skin and coat have always been in excellent condition due to the kibble formula I use. However, once my cat became ill his skin and coat became dry and dull. I am happy to say that these treats have put the health and shine back into my cat’s coat. The benefits of adding these into your cat’s diet far outweigh the inconvenience of making pate meatballs to entice eating them. So I will continue to use these treats as long as my cat will eat them. Original Review in May 2025: The package states it contains approximately a 30 day supply of treats depending on your cat’s weight. Directions state to give 1 chew per 2 lbs weight for kittens and 1 chew per 1 lb weight for cats greater than 6 months old. I have to feed my cat 12 treats per day because he weighs 12.5 lbs. These cat treats are about 1/2 inch wide by 1/4 inch high. See photos for reference. Be cautious though if your cat is pregnant or used for breeding because these treats have not been proven safe. Otherwise, It’s best to feed treats during or after a meal to reduce GI upset. My cat was excited to try something new and seemed to like it after a couple treats. So I gave him a few more treats. However, he stopped chewing and spit one out. I think he must have detected the fish oil or brewer’s yeast even though it is chicken flavored. In either case, he hates the taste of both! I was instructed by my vet to share a tiny portion of my fish oil gel capsules to prevent spit-ups, whatever the cause. He didn’t like it at first either and refused to eat his food. Now, I just cover his kibble and fish oil with wet cat food or liquid pate. I will try adding these chews as well to get my cat to eat them before I give up. If successful, I will give an updated review. I bought these chews hoping they will stop his one leaky eye, hot spot, and hairballs. I also hope these chews will work so I can quit sharing my fish oil gel capsules with my cat. It’s great for cat’s skin & coat, but an open capsule tastes as bad as castor oil!🤮🤮 No wonder my cat hates the taste!😆Lol Turns out the seasonings from table scraps were the cause of frequent vomiting. What can I say? Those Puss ‘n Boots eyes get me every time!😆Lol

My cats love these. Must have a great taste. i got it because my boys both came with runny eyes and little sneezes. A day or 2 of use and the sneezing stopped. Another day or 2 and the crust was gone from their eyes. Lysine is the way to go.

We have FOUR cats.. all of whom were exposed to FHV-1.. there’s not a cure, unfortunately. We had to take two of our cats to the vet recently to receive a shot of antibiotics because they were just exposed this year and got really sick. Our vet told me that because FHV-1 is highly contagious spread through sneezing, licking, and passed on at birth if mom is a carrier, he said it was a rare encounter to find a cat not exposed at some point of their lives. If a carrier gets stressed out by some new event (for us, it was bringing in another cat from the freezing temps outside) it can cause flare ups, then the sneezing, lethargy and reduced appetite follows. If your cats are prescribed Antibiotics more than once a year, it can suppress their immune systems over time and ability to naturally high off infection (same with us), BUT there is a natural supplement that can help boost their immunity. Lysine is an amino acid naturally absorbed within the body (but it’s NOT produced). It’s one of the main things my vet told me to use with my cats to help when they get these flare ups, and can build immunity to help fight off the respiratory symptoms as well as seasonal allergies. I chose these treats over the liquid, powder, and gel supplements because if they’re going to have to take a supplement daily, I want them to at least enjoy it. This was a hit with all four of my super picky kitties who refuse certain textures and smells. They all actually prefer these treats over the Friskee through the same issues I am with your kitties. It’s highly likely they will enjoy these over any other lysine supplement on the market, 100%. 10/10 - thank you!

This is a great product. We rescued an abandoned cat and the poor baby has allergies. I gave this a try and within a few weeks, he had such an improvement! He loves the taste so, he cries for more after his daily dose!

It seems to be a good product, but it's hit or miss whether our kitty will eat them. Pretending they are treats results in her indignation. She obviously has explicit expectations! I'm disappointed because she needs the supplement. She would rather starve than eat her canned food with the goopy type of Lysine added. I was hoping these would do the trick. Not so much!

My cats love it! Instead of giving them fatty treats, I replace them with this product. This way, my cats get healthy while enjoying treats. Highly recommended

My cat has seasonal allergies. She loves these and they work. Do not upset her delicate digestive system. Better than probiotic powder. Easier to administer she just eats them.
