Fit perfectly. my Wii U controller now holds a charge! Installation was easy, the screwdriver provided is small, but effective. Make sure to use the provided pad so that the battery doesn't rattle around.

Easy replacement. Replaces original 1500 mAH Wii U battery & fits perfectly mounted horizontally. It may have arrived partially charged as it charged quickly. No comment yet on longevity. The included tiny screwdriver is a throw away & nearly useless. It's too small to get any leverage on the very tight screws & was ruined in the process. Screws were finally removed with a larger handled micro Phillips screwdriver. Recommended.

My Wii U Gamepad wouldn't hold a charge for more than a minute or so, and so I had to keep my Gamepad plugged in to use it. That creates a huge hassle when trying to play Wii U games since I'm tethered to the charging cord. I bought this replacement to hopefully fix that. It wasn't until I opened up the Gamepad to install this new battery that I saw that the cells inside the original battery had burst and so the plastic case of the OG battery was bulging, though the plastic was unbroken, so no leakage had occurred. This battery lasts forever compared to how long the battery lasted when my Wii U and Gamepad was new. It's a great buy if you need a new Wii U Gamepad battery!

The first battery I received was well-packaged but unfortunately didn’t hold a charge at all. I contacted Amazon, and they quickly sent me a replacement, instructing me to discard the defective one. It was great not having to deal with the hassle of returning it, and the new battery has been perfect! Installation was super easy—just loosen two screws, unplug the old battery, insert the new one, and tighten the screws. I saw some other reviews mention that the battery didn’t fit properly, but I had no issues at all. There was plenty of room, and everything fit as expected. The longest we’ve used it without charging was at least 10 hours, and it still had a good amount of battery left. I place the gamepad on the dock at night, and it lasts the entire next day without needing a recharge until bedtime. My kids are thrilled they can play whenever they want now. Definitely worth the purchase!

This battery worked for a little while... kind of. When I first installed it, it seemed to power the gamepad, but it did cause the gamepad's charging light to occasionally blink. I thought that as long as it worked, I could live with a sometimes blinking light. However, I guess this was a sign that something was wrong. After a few uses, I found that the battery was dead and it would not charge. Thinking that maybe the battery wasn't fully plugged in, I opened the battery door and unplugged and replugged it several times but with no success. It simply would not charge anymore (if it ever did in the first place). Of course, I discovered this problem right after the return window ended, so I guess I'm out of luck. Maybe I just got unlucky and received a defective unit, but it seems the seller may need to work on quality control. :-(

Looks just like the official Nintendo one and it fit without a problem after charging it my WiiU last a very long time compared to the original that was in it at 45 minutes.

Absolutely worth it. This battery is five times longer than the original. Someone said they got 10 hours on high brightness and you can probably get more with less brightness. Easy install took 2 min.

This is ridiculously easy to install. It comes with the screwdriver. You just fully remove the back (just screws holding in place. No wires. No issues) then stick this one in and close it up. I have the oldest model of Wii U. I ordered it as soon as orders became available. This battery fit in and worked with mine with no issue. It’s great. It charges quickly. I know I’m in the minority, but I love the Wii U and used to kill the battery all the time. I love the enhanced battery life of this unit.

La batería tiene buena duración, tenía la original, pero ya no retenía carga más que por 15 minutos, entonces el haberla reemplazado fue lo mejor, literalmente la cargué al 100% me puse a jugar unas 3.5 hrs y la batería apenas iba al 50%, súper recomendable la actualización y el rendimiento de la misma.

Excelente, no puedo decir mas, muy buena bateria, solo recomiendo no ponerle el sticker que la deja en su lugar debido a que es mas gordita que la original y la tapa queda super justa.

Excelente batería, de larga duración, claramente se nota la diferencia con la que viene de fabrica, he tenido varias sesiones de juego y no he tenido necesidad de cargarla de nuevo, se adapta muy bien al espacio de la batería en el Wii U, fácil de instalar y lo mejor es que incluye la herramienta necesaria para hacer el cambio.

Dudaba un poco de su durabilidad pero ya tengo como medio año de uso y me tarda dias sin volver a cargar, amo esta batería
