Love this thing, have 4 now. Use them with projectors for special occasions to run videos and pictures off SD and USB cards. Super easy. Also has a remote trigger feature , great for startling people at Halloween when coupled with a motion sensor

Using this device to view advertising in club for upcoming events. Although it states that it has no memory, if you change an image on USB drive, you need to rename the file, delete old file & unplug for a minute or so or it will still show the old image

I bought this initially to play snowfall videos through a video projector to use at Christmas time. Worked fine for that, except that I noticed I had to get really close to the unit to get the remote control to work. I chalked it up to the unit being outside and tucked up in an enclosure. After I took down the projectors for the season, I moved it to my home entertainment system and connected it to a spare HDMI input on my AV receiver. This gave me the ability to insert an SD (or microSD in an adapter) or USB to play movies, music, and pictures. Again, worked perfectly. I did notice that the device would not play some relatively common video file formats, including AVIs using Motion JPEG, but this wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately, I discovered that the IR remote is really weak on this. I think it's the receiver on the unit itself, not the IR transmitter. I've tried using a SofaBaton U2 and another learning remote on it and I get the same poor results. I'm lucky if I can get the unit to operate using the remote at 10' to 12' away. This is doubly unfortunate because my equipment cabinet has a glass door. The glass doesn't seem to interfere much at all with using an IR remote on the other equipment, but I literally have to get up, open the door, and stand within 10' to get the Neumi to operate reliably. Kind of a bummer. But, overall, it does what it's supposed to and provides a good HDMI ouput to my system.

Don't buy. Just a piece of junk. Battery cover on remote didn't snap. Hooked it up to my TV through HDMI and kept getting weak signa message. Had the unit behind the TV and the remote signal did not reach.

Worked great for a motion-trigger jump-scare used in a haunted house. Very simple to setup. Needed the Numi motion sensor for this to work.

A very basic but good value media player. Has kinda clunky navigation of the controls with the remote but works ok. So far has played 265 HEVC video files flawlessly. Very small footprint.

I have worked with other products like Sprite, but this claims playback triggers others do not have. Hooked it up, and the menu and Settings on the device are nothing like the manual's description. Went to the website and got the Firmware update. It said installed successfully - and destroyed the USB stick. Could not delete corrupted files, had to do a full format (not quick format- even that did not work!). Reloaded my files, it said it couldn't see them. Tried another stick. Same problem. Formatted that, finally it could see them. Then going to the Video playback mode, and using the remote button to get to settings, I tried the various playback modes. None are what they seem - at least without the Trigger Setting, which DOES NOT EXIST on the Settings menu. I had purchased the Motion Sensor (separately, and paid extra to get it rushed International send). Image attached shows what the Manual says should be there, and what the Device actually gives for settings. No trigger mode. No way to actually make the sensor work (and yes it was plugged in). This product is not at all what it claims to be.

Bought it for a senior citizen because of its simplicity and it plays everything thrown at it. Only complaint is I find it a bit slow on a file startup.

worked for 60 seconds playing one file, then remote stopped working. not batteries, rebooted everything. Defective product, returning for refund.
