If you’re like me, probably looking for some “every day bolts” on projects / repairs. Don’t wanna spend a fortune on bolts and not thrilled about going to “big box” to find bolts. This seems to fit the requirements. PROs: They are thankfully well cleaned, nothings more horrible than metal slivers on bolts that are virtually invisible in your fingers, these are honestly good. Zinc plating looks good and uniform. The variety/ assortment seems about right, they put in what I would say is, “normal replacement” type bolts, as in this is what you would find on most vehicles before Metric bolts took over, riding lawnmowers / tractors and most projects that people looking for “bolts” and reading this would probably be looking for. I absolutely love the top cover and inside Bolt Map, it keeps things organized and easy to find. CONs The box is really flexible, I’m thinking of putting some scrap wood on the bottom and just epoxying it on, you really got to “let it be” and open the lid, or you absolutely be picking these things up off the ground. These aren’t for your Space X Raptor engines, the threads are not super smooth on the knife outside edge , they ever so slightly “catch” off and on with an occasional chip out. If you ever worked with expensive head studs or cap screws, you know how nice the nuts fit slightly glides on. The nuts fit slightly loose, as in, threaded half on and you wobble the nut on the middle of the bolt. I personally have no issue using these for lifting an engine, but not on a spring perch. It’s probably just a result of the speed of which these things are being pumped out, I believe the tolerances could be better.. but not at this price point .. , but it’s good enough for the guy in the garage or on the farm. I knocked a star based on the box and loose tolerances.

Fit for purpose. Bolts and nuts true to size- recommended. As described, not puffed up with handfuls of worthless crap like so many lower cost assortments (looking at you you worthless grifters who pop in a couple hundred wall anchors or other low value/useless crap.

Nice set to have around. Has most of what you will run across needing. Bigger case would make it even better, but they include all the dividers so you could always use the case for something else.
