Bought for our most recent camping trip since the one that came with our portable bathroom was too small. This is the perfect size, we used a 5 gallon bucket and it worked out perfectly. Comfortable and sturdy as well. It was easy to set up and put back.

This camp toilet is useful and incredibly sturdy. If you decide to rough-it, but don’t like squatting in the woods, this is for you. It folds up into a compact square with a carrying case when you’re storing it, and it’s way easy to fold out and snap together when you want to set it up. Did I mention durable? My husband and son are some big guys at approx 6’3, and not skinny. They’ve both used it without a problem. You can use it with the bottom piece if you’re putting a bag in it. You can use it without if you’re setting it over your own latrine you’ve dug for camp. I also recommend a pop up latrine/privacy tent and odor neutralizing powder to go with it.

I bought this for use in my camper/tiny home. After several years of using a bucket system I wanted an upgrade. The problem is that most camping toilets can't, or don't look like they can support my 400 lb frame, so I needed something super sturdy and heavy duty. This toilet fits the bill. It's solid, looks great, especially compared to the old bucket. There's no odors, leaks or smells at all while the lid is closed. And the bags make it easy to keep clean, and dispose of waste with the regular trash. It comes with a nice little cart bag, but I will never use it as this is just my permanent toilet for this tiny home.

GOOD QUALITY.

This is the absolute best purchase.. we go to a lot of dirt race tracks, and most tracks only have port-a-potties and being a woman that is NOT ideal for me. Port a pots are nasty, and gross and men can stand up to pee, women have to squat and hold their pants away from the tops... it's just gross..most do not even have paper or stuff to wash hands with. And if there is nothing to wash hands with you know the men are opening the door with their hands.. then I have to touch that same handle. Nope, not me. Thank God for this toilet, I can sit it in our trailer with a tarp around it and use my own bathroom..with my own toilet paper, hand wash, and clorox wipes.. this is GREAT. I can take the bag out when we leave and throw it in trash can. It disintegrates in 7 days and I buy the stuff to solidify the urine and makes it not smelly.. works WONDERFUL.

Best camping toilet on the market

Edit: After just 3 months of use the seat has broken! I only weigh 125lbs, so not a weight issue. Sad ending of short life usage. Really like this xl toilet. Had the lower height model with a thinner seat for a year. This is much more stable, and similar to a homes dimension. Still a small bit off of home seat width, but more comfortable than the previous model. The bags included are 38" wide. Looks like the 45gallon bags are that width. Going to be a lot of excess height, but can cut them down just before tearing them off the roll. For their size and waste. I've put the former toilet inside the larger one to use it's smaller bags. The larger bag is a just in case something misses the rim of the inside toilet/bag.
