Simple to use, just plug a network cable from your router into one port and then cables from the other ports to your devices and bingo, it works everything out. Originally, I was looking at a gigabit TP-Link switch for around double the price (and part of me would still prefer that one) but then I saw this 100Mbps one for half the price, and my Internet connection doesn't surpass 100Mbps at the moment anyway so it would have been silly to get the more expensive one. Also, this switch has eight ports as opposed to the five the other had. The switch has yet to display an sign of failure and has been a lifesaver expanding the number of ethernet ports in my bedroom. The only advantage of a gigabit switch over this 100Mbps one for home use would have been for faster peer to peer data transfer, which I don't often do anyway.
