I got this to do the connection myself after realizing my apartment (I rent) has ethernet ports on the wall that's not connected properly to the ethernet box in the wall. Even as a non-professional, this was super easy to install even for a first timer. Nice quality for the price, and ensures good connection and speed.

Very easy to use. Only need one tool (pair of regular pliers to press the pieces together ).

Works well with a wire tap in the tooless design. The first set of wires goes through a pass through and does not have a “pinch point” to hold the wires in place like the second set of wires does. You’ll see what I mean when you put the second set into their “clasps”. This causes the first set to come slightly loose or not be pulled taught to get the wire tap to work effectively. I got this working by slightly lengthening the first set of wires to where they are picked by the end when you press into it and that worked for me. Simple change with the first set having clasps would resolve this design issue and make this 5/5, with out it, still a good connector but… 4.5 and you still need a wire stripper, so not really 100% tool less, just saved buying the crimping tool is all

Love the idea and concept, but this is a poor execution. Super easy to use and yes they work, BUT the RJ45 connectors in these will not stay locked into anything I connect them to. Keystones, directly into a switch - doesn’t matter. They will eventually fall out. Sort of a deal breaker.

If they are shipped fully assembled it's extremely hard to get the load bar and plastic out of its cover. So not only would I not be able to use them several times I might not be able to use them the very first time. That would be too bad because it's a great idea and solves a particular problem I have. I'm going to try a few more times before returning them. The company should put the pieces together lightly, rather than fully assembled, and send a diagram of the disassembly and reassembly steps, and maybe a youtube vid. Addendum: I used a little screwdriver, like the ones you use to fix watches, pried the top up a bit and then it was all smooth sailing. Changing my eval from 3 to 5 becasee it solved my problem, eventually.

If you don't need to make many connections, these are great

Went together fairly easy and works. Now we'll see how long it lasts, but it looks stronger than the one that came on the cable originally.

I am leaving a 2 star as they are very easy to use after you finally figure out they are not completely tooless, and how to use the tool they come with. There is no instructions, or video to show you how. Then after you figure that out and you get them assembled they are rather quick and easy, but do not work well with any device that will have to hang on a wall, DO NOT USE ON SECURITY CAMEAS, ACCESS POINTS, TV'S WERE THE PLUG GOES OUT THE BACK INTO THE WALL OR ANY DEVICE IN THAT. MATTER THAT THE PLUG GOES CLOSE TO THE WALL THESE ARE VERY LONG AND BULKY. If you want customer service go ahead and forget about that it took 2 days to get a response it was by text and after 2 weeks of me respoding to them crickets. I would look for anther brand.

Funciona muy bien. Para instalarlos solo necesitas una pinza o navaja para cortar el cable ethernet, una navaja para pelar la cubierta del cable y una pinza de corte o tijera para recortar a la medida los cables de colores. OJO: respetar la secuencia de colores que indica el manual recortar los primeros 4 cables de arriba al raz del conector y los otros cuatro de abajo un poco más cortos para evitar que interfieran con los de arriba.

説明通りにケーブルカラー毎に配置して組み付けるだけで、素人でも問題無く出来ました。

What a relief, after so much stress with the cheap crimp connectors. I had those ones w a separate boot, and many crimps later, I still could not do it. But these crimp connectors are so much better! My connector worked at the first try. Yes, they cost more, but the time and frustration saved is worth every penny. Fully recommended. Will definitely buy again!

The installation was super easy, and I appreciate the ability to re-use the connectors. I had to route my ethernet cable through small holes through my floor and had to snip the existing connectors. These were perfect.
