Great for camping
I build disaster kits. The one thing that is hard to keep ready is water. It's bulky and heavy. With this mini water pump, I can get clean water from a stream or lake and not have to worry about what's in the water. The battery holds a charge and recharges quickly.

Works better than expected, won't charge on PD supply
To those that haven't read the product description carefully, this is NOT a water filter! It requires a water filter like a LifeStraw or other brand. The job of this product is to serve as a water pump for those smaller "straw" purifiers. I was surprised at the decent water output this provides. Its case is a little cheap, and I'm concerned about getting replacement connectors to attach the straw if they break, but it works well and doesn't cost much. The instructions are a bit baffling due to the poor English, but it's easy enough to figure out. I wish these companies would invest a little into having instructions written that actually make sense! One thing to note is that this will not charge--not even try to charge--using a standard USB-C PD charger. You need an older power block with USB-A, probably something that supports QC or older protocols. Maybe a give-away that they supply only a USB-A to USB-C cable. It's good for what it is and for what you pay. If I get a lot of use out of it, I will pursue something of higher quality, but for now I want to see how useful I find it to be. As far as the light goes--eh. Not what I bought it for.

Carolina lifesaver
The heck with camping/hiking. This saved us in the epicenter of the destruction of Helene in North Carolina. I bought this unit a year ago and threw it in a closet with some lifestraws. After the hurricane we used up the water I stored long before anyone could truck in anymore. Me and the boys hopped in a truck and went down to the river overflowing its banks and pulled buckets of water out for our use. Warned that it may not be drinkable, I pulled it all through this pump and a lifestraw. Easily a hundred gallons. Beats the heck out of hand pumping a Katahdyn one stroke at a time.

Great time and energy saver
If the grid goes down, you’ll want two of these for your straw style filter! The time and energy of pumping through a sawyer mini bag isn’t worth it, just buy this pump. The silver is all plastic but it is light weight so you can pack it for backpacking and camping. It can be recharged via USB via Solar panel or battery and had a flashlight.

Works, but doesn't work particularly well.
Works as advertised, but I bought this along with a Lifestraw and it pumps very slowly. You're better off with a physical pump to make sure it works when you need it.

Transfers water very nicely, for small things
This is a little bigger than the palm of your hand, Transferred over 3 gallons of water.Did not kill the battery. It is very slow. You are not gonna move massive amounts of water quickly but for my needs it is perfect, I have a camper off grid so I have to bring my water in, Lifting up five and six gallon jugs of water gets very tiring, Just to fill a kettle or something. For the cost of this it's an amazing little find.
