If you like Ark Nova, you will love this expansion. It's just as high quality as the original and looks great. Its a bit expensive for the size of the expansion, but overall worth it if you like the game!

The expansion adds so many new cards and it makes the original game (my favorite of all time) even more fun! (if it is possible!) It also includes some great new tokens/meeples for 4 players in the shape of different animals. You can mix the expansion with the original game in the same box and there is no need to separate the two of them, the expansion doesn't interrupts the original game. If you know how to play Ark Nova, then the expansion is easy to include in the normal game. I love it!

One of the best expansions to a game I own. Not only does it add interesting choices to the game, it also patches some cards from the base game. The rebalancing aspect is refreshing and awesome to see. It also proves the designers are play testing their own games. As gamers, we appreciate that.

For me Marine World is a necessary expansion that adds additional fun to the great game of Ark Nova.

Nice addition to Ark Nova, but except for the "nicer" player's pieces, the new cards/rules don't add a huge amount to the overall game play. I would call this a "nice to have" expansion, but not a necessary one.

Love the base game. Normally don’t care for expansions. However, this one addressed some imbalances in the original cards (with this many cards, sometimes that happens). It also introduced some new mechanics (animals, sponsors, action cards) that alleviated some frustrations with the base game and/or provided additional variety in gameplay. Like the wave mechanic that flows through cards. Everyone has their favorites and those they hate, and this makes it more challenging to pick up a card showing before it goes away - and it lets you get through the deck quicker.

Great expansion for the base game. The new enclosure shapes add variety, and the reef mechanic keeps things interesting. But the best part by far: the new action cards! Adds variety to every game and encourages flexibility in strategy. If you enjoy Ark Nova, then this expansion is a must-have.
