They just needed to take some time to change and one did go back to white once the moisture in the soil was gone.Ordered one set of the large white sticks (2 sticks). I have a new money tree plant with a pot diameter of 9 inches. First started with 1 stick and began slowly watering and waited the estimated time, which is approximately 25 minutes for the large sticks. After noticing no change, I began to water a bit more, slowly and waited again. I thought maybe the first stick was defective so I plugged my 3-in-1 moisture meter in and the soil was definitely wet. Lifted the pot up to check the hole at the bottom of the base and it was dripping water. I tried the second stick and waited. After some time while I was typing this review β€” I saw that the second stick was beginning to absorb the moisture and gradually change blue. Thankfully, I didn’t continue watering as it’s already slightly overwatered. I can’t put my full faith in the accuracy of these sticks.
