This is a well-made instance of a brodie knob, which makes it significantly easier to steer quickly and/or one-handedly. I purchased this to help me through a period when I had to have one arm in a brace; without it I would have had a much harder time driving myself in our car. The knob attaches to the steering wheel and the ring holding it to the wheel can be tightened or loosened to fit the size of your steering wheel. Do make sure you measure your steering wheel's rim, though, before buying this or another brodie knob, so that you can be sure it will fit snugly. The knob itself rotates easily and silently, allowing one to turn the wheel continuously without getting one's wrist into weird shapes. It also feels more efficient. The only downside to using this is that the knob sometimes hits me in the stomach. I have relatively short legs, and so have to adjust the seat pretty close to the steering wheel to drive safely. If you're of a more average height, however, this won't be an issue.

Excellent device. Had shoulder surgery. I had no other means of transportation or someone to take me to my appointments or food shopping since I only had one hand this device made driving simple. Its durable great cratemenship its worth having for its value, smooth operation very quit

Used on my Kioti DK5320 tractor. It fits OK, but I had to use both rubber spacers. It seems decent quality, but I wouldn't buy this if I stored my tractor outside. It's clearly designed for a car, as the fake chrome will most likely degrade if left outside for long. The handle has good grip, though, and I store my tractor in our barn, so this should last me a while, at least long enough to be worth it. It's really nice to be able to steer with this and have my other hand free while operating the tractor, though, especially when using the front end loader.

This product is great, but there are a few caveats. Firstly, you absolutely NEED to use the longer rubber strip provided; there are small bumps on the inside of the clamp that will absolutely destroy your steering wheel if it has a cloth or leather covering. The knob is also quite large--admittedly, I have somewhat small hands, but I feel that it would be pretty difficult to hold even for someone with larger hands. It's also not removable, so keep that in mind. Installation is quite easy, but a bit cumbersome, because you have to reach around the steering wheel to screw in the two bolts, while keeping the rubber grip in between the two pieces. Once it's on there, though, it feels quite sturdy. I can place my entire arm weight on the knob and it doesn't slide. For $20, it's rather well-made and feels quality. The bearing doesn't make any noise and makes the whole experience buttery smooth. There are definitely some things that could be better, though. The rubber grip on the one that I got was slightly deformed, which doesn't impact functionality at all, but it makes it look worse than it could. The logo is also a touch off-center, which makes it feel cheaper than the actual experience would imply.

Needed to install after elbow surgery and temporary loss of use of one arm. Very easy to control vehicle with one arm. Well made, easy to install.

We have had this for a while and wanted to make sure it was “Julie proof” It is 100% Julie proof Great sturdy quality, it fit our riding lawn mower perfectly and no noise at all. I was able to turn my wheel and we have some steep hills to go up and down on and I was able turn in any direction I needed to. It fit my hands perfectly and it functioned like it said it would. I am really unsure how I lived without this for 5 yrs LOL. It was one of the best things We brought because before it would hurt my hands and arms just turning the wheel and it was harder. With this little knob, it makes it so easy to use and makes the wheel turning much more safer for me and easier!!! I love this and highly recommend it!!!

Have been using it for more than 6 months. Very easy to navigate, reverse. Sturdy and good product. I have been using similar products for over 15 years and very convenient for driving.
