I had been using a Purple pillow for a few months, but I found it started to sink down a little, which was very disappointing for the price (I paid around $200 for it! You can see it in the background in my pics). I was having still neck pain and finding it hard to sleep-- even a half-inch difference is huge when it comes to side sleeping. So I went through Reddit suggestions for different pillows and came across this one. I had my doubts because of the price and the weird shape, but I'm a weird sleeper, so I gave it a try. It inflated well out of the bag, and a queen size pillow case covers it fine (see pics). At first, I slept on it the wrong way (with the taller end at my neck-- I thought it would help because the purple pillow had been too short), but after I flipped it around and went at it from the other way (sloping down, nestled into the center), the pain was immediately gone. Even if I have to replace it every 6 months, it'll be more economical than buying a $200 pillow that needs replacing at the same rate! I'm very pleased. It also doesn't get too hot for me (a problem with a lot of memory foam pillows, and also why I went for a purple one before), and seems to keep its shape well. The only thing with the shape was that I don't sleep like the person in the picture (laying on one side, with that arm somehow bent down and then back up to lay in the nice little crevice that's built into the pillow), I stick my arm straight out from my body on the side I've laid down on, to support my head. Surprisingly, the height differential this makes doesn't impact my neck, back, or sleep. I do often wake up on my back now, which I don't mind, because it doesn't hurt!). TLDR; I sleep weirdly and usually painfully, but this pillow has fixed that and I have no regrets. Buy it.

I always sleep on side, with a pregnancy pillow to support my legs. This pillow works with my set up just fine. The height is good for keeping sideways head up and supported off of shoulder. Circulation to arm does not get cut off as much as regular pillow. My biggest problem with regular pillows is that head sinks into them and the pillow puts lots of pressure on temple and eye, or just touches too much of cheek and is annoying. This pillow is a little better, much less pressure and don't notice on my cheek too much. Sleeping supine is also very comfortable too, did not expect it to be so comfortable. My back was sore at first, but cleared up after a few days.

It's been a month and at first I loved the pillow and it did help my neck to stop hurting. I am now experiencing that the pillows fluff is fading and it's flat on one side and I am getting aches and waking up - like now it's 3a and I've switched the pillow every which way and I can't get comfy and my neck hurts and my shoulders hurt! I'm so mad because I spent money on TWO pillows and it never fixed anything! Ugh..

I purchased two of these pillows in November and used them until January when I couldn't use them anymore due to them being very uncomfortable. My husband had the same experience. I wish I could get a refund but it has likely been too long. They really interrupted my sleep as they were causing increased pain in my neck and shoulders. They obviously work for others but didn't for us. I would not buy pillows like this again.

Has helped me sleep more comfortably on my left side without developing a painful crick in my neck. It should have a tag indicating front and back sides, however!

Less neck strain. Easy on my shoulder. I saw a bunch of similar ones that were three or four times more expensive. I took a gamble on these and I’m glad I did. They are memory foam but they’re good. They have a nice cover. They keep my neck in a good position and they help when I sleep on my side, they actually fit into a pillowcase also so that should help keep them nice. For the money charged relative to what else is out there that looks similar I would say this is a winner. They come a nice boxes, all wrapped very compact. All in all I’d say it’s a pretty good product from shipping to actually use.

I really enjoyed this pillow for side sleeping. I love how it has a spot for my hands because I have a tendency of my hands/arms falling asleep. I am trying to be more of a back sleeper and that is why I returned this (it didn’t work the best for me). I wanted something that would work for both. It does have a removable insert for a custom fit which is awesome, but I am more of a petite person and it was still a bit tall for me. I highly recommend this for side sleeping though! So comfy.

This pillow is too flat and floppy, even with the extra material. It might have been okay if it was a little thicker.
