It works compressor is still loud though.

I bought a new Porter Cable at Tractor Supply that was missing the air filter. This was cheap alternative and arrived quickly. This version is just a flat filter while the air compressor should have come with the donut ring shaped filter. But it works for now. At some point I may get another design with the ring shaped filter, but for now this one is working and comes with spares. Porter Cable quoted $38 for theirs which is outrageous.

Definitely worth the cost and fit my older Craftsman compressor!

They work just like they should. The compressor is still loud, but not as loud as it was.

I got both, it came with a total of 4 air filters, 2 inside the airboxes and 2 extra. The 2 outside were a little crushed, they just came in a plastic bag but it's still functional. I saw reviews saying they didn't reduce the noise but on my ancient compressor it was a drastic noise reduction. Also I cross-shopped on eBay and Temu and saw what looks like the identical parts on a range of $15-$39! $8.99 shipped here with 1-day shipping was great. 1 note, the lids are tight and hard to remove. The tabs the lid locks onto are thin steel and almost sliced my hand when removing the first time so be cautious of that.

Arrived quickly, fit the compressor and solved my problems!

I originally purchased the 1/2" thread 20mm filter, but it was actually 3/4" and was too big to fit my air compressor so instead of focusing on the SAE number, I purchased the one that had 13mm because that converts to 1/2" and it was a perfect fit. Works well, I added just a little bit of blue loctite so it won't spin back out on its own when the compressor is running. Separating the two halves for the filter change is easy enough. 1 star deduction because of the thread size confusion.
