Inexpensive capacitor, replaced CSC 195662-35 for Century pool pump B2984
My pool pump wouldn't turn on. It is about 7 years old. I took a chance and replaced the capacitor. It turned on after with no problem. Fixed for under $20.

Disappointed—Failed After 4 Hours
Initially hopeful, but it stopped working after just 4 hours and emitted a burning smell. I double-checked the wiring, which matched the previous setup. Installed a different brand the next day using the same method—works perfectly. This unit may be defective, but it clearly wasn’t market ready. Returned immediately and credited back.

Pool pump capacitor replacement
I used this to replace the old one in my pool pump. Took about 15 mins to swap out. Works great so far, motor even sounded a little quieter, but that could be me.
