The rods I got were actually 3mm, not 1/8th. The two are very close together and likely does not matter for most uses. This was fine for my project once I adjusted for it. They rods come in a nice case, quality is reasonable, price is good.

I'm rebuilding a transmission on my classic sports car, it requires removing the output shaft bearing with a brass punch, I bought this to serve as a punch, since is was longer than any normal punch is was able to reach deeper into the transmission case and worked perfectly. It also comes in a plastic case which doubles as a good storage case.

Nice brass rods. Came in a nice container. Use these on a knife handle. Fit a little bigger than 1/8” but no biggie. Look nice.

The rods had some black rings didn’t expect that. Spoiled the looks of the project

The brass is brassy it looks very classy. In my lathe it spins the same clockwise or ccw.

Works really well to make pins for knife handles.

I don't know if these are brass or not, I don't know a lot about metallurgy. I needed pins for the handle of a knife, wanted brass colored, and these were roughly the right size for the hole in the knife tang. I say roughly because the hole in the tang was a little undersized so I had to sand them down a bit to fit. Good quality product without any brittleness. Very pleased.
