Bad experience. Dough comes out covered in machine oil!
My personal experience was quite terrible with this product. I’ve followed all instructions provided by the manufacturer, yet the dough coming from machine was just covered in black machine oil. Used machine 3 times and every-time - same story. Based on reviews, that is quite common problem. I would not recommend this product. I’ve ended up returning mine for a refund.

My first time writing a review. This is an amazing machine. It does the job perfectly. I definitely recommend this machine.

Great Machine!
My mom loves it! And says it makes her life so much easier than hand cutting all her homemade noodles.

Good pasta making...but spits machine oil
We enjoy making fresh pasta for my partner's famous spaghetti sauce (amazing stuff), and for noodles, ravioli, tortellini, etc. My hand-cranked Marcato Atlas pasta machine does a very good job and is easy to control, but you really need three hands (1) to hold the dough sheet straight for the rollers, (2) to turn the crank, AND (3) keep the pasta strands separated and falling correctly into the dish. A motorized machine eliminates that need for a third hand, so I was very excited at getting to try the Newhai pasta machine. It's larger than my Marcato, but not as large and heavy as I expected. It rolls out sheet dough and three widths of noodles (spaghetti, fettucine, and one in between), and is heavy and stable enough by itself that you don't need to clamp it to the counter. At $4190, it's about a third less expensive than a motorized Marcato setup too. I kneaded up a batch of my favorite pasta dough (3 eggs to 2 cups all-purpose flour, add a tiny bit of water if it seems dry), and tried rolling sheet and noodles. The machine is loud in operation, but certainly not louder than you'd expect. It has what appears to be a standard control for dough thickness, with settings from 1 to 9--1 is about 3mm (1/8 inch). The thickness dial only turns one way--if you want to open up thickness again you keep turning until it gets back to 1. The other control on the machine directs the motor to the sheet roller on one side, or the three noodle cutters on the other. Apparently you must only change this setting while the machine is running--it will make some disconcerting noises, and doesn't always fully seat (you'll know it hasn't because the disconcerting noises become very loud). I'd given the machine a good cleaning before use, running paper towels through the rollers to pick up stray machine oil, so I was surprised to see the sheet of dough emerging with a fair amount of black marbling. Not appetizing at all, so I took the machine apart and gave the rollers a good cleaning. It took care of most of the grime, but the black grease still appeared in spots from both the sheet roller and the noodle cutters. (see the video) It's much better now, but I still get the occasional sputter of black on the pasta. I'll probably take it apart again, give it a good cleaning, and if that doesn't do the trick it will become my studio rolling machine (I also work in polymer and metal clay, and a powered pasta roller is a godsend there. So, I'm torn with this machine. It works to easily roll sheets and noodles, although it's a little hard to figure out initially. The ongoing machine oil problem, though, keeps me from giving this five stars.

Good pasta maker
This is a good pasta maker. It's could make three different sizes of noodles. You also could ajust the thickness as you like. The reason I give it 4 stars is : after running for 10 or 15minutes, the machine felt a little hot. I don't know if this is normal or safe for continue using. I just stopped it , and after it was cooled down, I turned it on to continue. I love noodles very much. And this pasta maker let me make different noodles as I like.

This machine works really well!
This machine is so easy to use. Very well made so far. Easy to clean. Great for making pasta sheets and cut pasta. For the price you can’t beat. No messing with the hand crank or tightening down the vice.

Arrived just on time for a first trial, as we like making our pasta at home. It was a success! This machine is sturdy, well built and easy to operate. finally no more physical effort of manual cranking to operate, you push the button on and concentrate on processing the dough to produce the pasta of your choice. No complicated operation, just rotate the knobs for the thickness and the shapes you want. As I mentioned operation and pasta production are very easy, however, one issue the manufacturer did not addressed: CLEANING the cutters after usage!! Nothing even is mentioned in the instructions about how to clean ... Obviously you can dust it and leave the dough bits dry on the cutters and hopefully fall off the next time you use the machine, or as I did, run paper towels thru the rolling cutters to remove the remaining bits of dough, then use a clean dedicated paint brush to remove all the flour that got stuck everywhere. Advice: use enough FLOUR while processing and cutting the dough, it will help keeping the cutters clean. Good luck.
