Great product. I'd recommend getting the sample packet before ordering lengths unless you know what you're doing!!!

All OK now but quite tricky to fit as the material is very rigid compared to the original and not exactly the same shape, but by using some silicon spray to lubricate the location it was much easier. I used a piece of wood and a rubber mallet to force the gasket into the gap, but only just enough force (!), moving along about one centimeter per attempt. Sometimes using just two thumbs was easier ( I don't know why, perhaps the material and gap varied). Anyway, very pleased with the final result - much neater than the original ! I originally planned to mitre the joints, but looking at other similar joints on other windows, I decided to cut the bottom and top strips at 90 degrees with a tight fit into the corners, then carefully shape the vertical strip ends to fit over the ends already in place. This works very well as the joints are almost invisible. I've seen coving fitted like this and it works very well for thick material.

With handles ( previously purchased and installed) it is easy to tart up ageing UPVC frames. It has improved the seal , reduced the noise and generally improved the room . With a good clean ( car polish works well and feeds the frame ) like new again and give me another few years of use.
