Good: High quality. Lever wire clamps are ingenious, very easy to use - you can almost wire these things one-handed - holds wires solidly once locked, and releases them easily when needed. The levers are even color-coded to make mis-wiring almost impossible. Tamper-resistant guard admits a plug without grief, unlike a lot of TR outlets I've used. UL listed. Good price in the 10-pack. Bad: A bit thicker than lesser outlets; takes some wire management to fit it into a crowded box. Bottom line: Leviton is my go-to brand for electrical fixtures, and these outlets do not disappoint. I was a bit reluctant to try these; electricians always tell you to use the screw terminals, not the push-ins. These *have no* screw terminals, but the levers provide a positive lock and are ridiculously easy to use. I used these to replace three broken outlets in various corners of my house. The only wiring difficulty I encountered is that I had to snip and re-strip a few wires because the lever locks seem to like absolutely straight, smooth copper, and the bare ends I took off the old outlets were neither. Which is best practice in any case, so that's OK. The remainder will be going into additional outlets in the basement, and I am confident they'll work well. Five stars.

The easiest replacement wall outlet you can find with a Wago® style snap lock on the back makes this a fast and simple installation. No more wire nuts or having to make a perfect hook on the wire to screw into the side of an outlet. Leviton makes high quality products and this shows. I also like the modern look of of rectangular faced outlets. If you have little ones the built-in safety covers work well. (PS: I hope they eventually make a 20amp version)

These things make switching an outlet so easy. The clips provide a solid hold and very positive closing, so no way to be mistaken. The only dings I could grant it would be for the excess tabs that I remove at the top and bottom. Unlike a traditional outlet with metal rabbit ears against the wall, these are plastic so it is easy to over tighten and flex the plastic inward. Also, you cannot route out two load wires, only one, so any more will require a pigtail. In the couple of cases where I needed to do that and had no room for a pigtail (why do they make the boxes so damn small?), I used an eaton commercial grade outlet that does not require fishhooks. Anyway, I did my house and am now doing my sisters because these outlets make it so easy.

I used these outlets to replace the old style receptacles that were installed in our newly constructed house by a cheapskate national builder. This product is outstanding and amazingly easy to install. I recommend highly.

What these and have been really happy with the way they hold the wires so much better than the old backstab method these are superior to the cheap ones that they sell everything works good on it and they look fantastic. Easy to use and compatible so go ahead buy them replace all of your old ones in your house

Sure you’ll have some boomers saying “that’s a weaker connection than my J hook torque to 8.942 inch pounds” they’re wrong. It’s an excellent product and it saves a whole lot of time when installing outlets and switches. You know you have a secure, safe connection and it isn’t prone to errors like leaving a screw too loose or hooking the wire the wrong direction. Additionally the sides are plastic so no risk of shock when grabbing the sides. These lever spring connections are rated beyond what they say they are, and they are safer and are harder to mess up. Absolutely love them, and the time saved. However, I have 1 complaint to dock a star. That is compatibility with outlet covers. Not sure why they have a thick and taller plastic than standard thin metal on most outlets (the bunny ears) I had a whole bunch of screwless 1 gang covers that didn’t fit , and some two gang they didn’t fit. Same for screw type covers I tried. I had to specifically buy mid size outlet covers to fit and, in my opinion, it seems like there’s no logical design reason for that.

Absolutely love these. Makes changing an outlet so much faster and easier. I have some wiring issues and had an electrician come out. After installing fixing the issue he installed several of these for me. He was very impressed with the wiring holding strength and the design and commented how much faster it made installs even for a pro.

Easy to install, and I love the fact that there’s no screws on the side. No exposed wires. They seem very safe and easy to use. Also use Wago 221s when there’s more than one wire to connect.

These are an absolute game changer! No more bending loops, tapping the outside, making sure to tighten the loops the right way, etc. It was so easy in fact I was able to do it 1 handed. As an added bonus for an amateur diyer, the plastic at the top and bottom doesn’t permanently bend as easy as the traditional metal ones, So if you over tighten it won’t permanently deform and have to be bent back to sit flush with the plate. The connector between the two hot connectors is accessible in case you want to have one of the plugs on a switch. (In the video the plug used to be half on a switch, but we got rid of the switch). Note for the screwless wall plate, the top and bottom tabs had to be snapped off. For only a couple bucks more than the traditional ones these are definitely worth it! Update: I have since used up the whole box updating outlets in my house and just ordered more! These make it way too easy!
