I must admit I was dreading this. I bought some clubs that needed new grips. The bloke supplied the grips and said it was an easy task. I bought this kit and to my utter surprise, it was that easy. The vice grip worked flawlessly and the spray made application a real doddle. Really pleased with this kit.

Skrim tape version review. Fitting is very simple, goes on well. Solvent is very slow drying, on regripping a club a couple of months later there was still wet solvent inside the club itself. Removing the skim tape is a nightmare. With paper tape it comes off in sections but with some heat and solvent isn't too bad. The skrim tape tears and is so sticky it's a real pain to get off the shaft. Having to use a blade to scrape through, I am dreading redoing my driver, wood and hybrid with a graphite shaft when needed. Back to paper tape for me.
