Ecozone Kettle & Iron Descaler | Easy Use Sachets | Powerful Limescale Removal

My wife does the ironing but I’d got myself some new tee-shirts and polo shirts from Hugo Boss so I thought I’d iron them myself to make sure they were done properly. Her ironing is ok for day to day dossing around gear and gym kit but I wasn’t happy with her standard of ironing of the tops I go out to pubs, restaurants etc in.Whilst ironing, I noticed a small amount of discoloured water come out of the iron. Luckily, it never came out when I was ironing my new white tops. I asked my wife when she last cleaned and descaled the iron and she said ‘never’. Hardly surprising then that the water was discoloured.After pointing out the error of her ways, I did some research and eventually purchased this product. I used it as instructed and it did an excellent job. The amount of muck and limescale which came out of the steam holes in the iron’s plate was disgusting and copious. Whist I was doing this, my wife was sat at the kitchen table reading one of her women’s magazines. I called her over and had her look at all the horrible gunk which this product had removed from the inside of the iron, a Bosch Sensix x DA30 Power IV id anyone’s interested.I’ll not lie. The process wasn’t pleasant. As well as all the crap which came out of the iron, the smell wasn’t great and the steam and heat from the iron made it hot work. There’s no getting round this though when you’re dealing with a dirty, neglected iron.The product however, was excellent and I’d highly recommend it. When going through the cleaning process, hold the iron flat a few inches above the work top with some kitchen roll on the work top to collect all the gunk and dirty water. Don’t do as initially did and stand the iron up: this caused all the muck from the steam holes in the iron’s plate to be fired at high pressure all along the work top and up the splash back when the steam button was pressed.I also purchased another product to clean some black burned on substance off the iron’s plate which also worked very well. Why my wife hadn’t noticed this obvious hard, black build up is beyond me. And don’t even get me started on the state of the ironing board cover: it was worn and frayed, had holes in it, was stained and wholly unsuitable for its intended purpose. Needless to say, this tatty, dirty excuse for an ironing board cover was promptly replaced and its inadequacy for the task pointed out to my wife.I’m glad I took it upon myself to iron those new tee-shirts and polo shirts as I would have never been aware of the utter shambles and shortcomings of my wife’s ironing routine.To reiterate, this product is excellent and does exactly what it is intended to do to a high standard.

I rarely leave reviews for products unless they are 100% worthy of them - but had to on this one.I have used, shall we way - higher named products before in the past with my kettle to descale it and all of them have taken either multiple packets and still.. haven't done the job 100%Was very wary of this product due to the price and not knowing anything about Ecozone at all but bit the bullet anyway just in-case..I have never been more wrong about a product in my life!Boiled the kettleStuck in one sachetWaited 30 minutes..Clean as a whistle. No fuss, no mess.If you are reading this and trying to make up your own mind to buy it because the 'name' isn't anything or who you know - forget all that... BUY IT. It works. As it did for me.Effectiveness - 100% in one 30 minute runSpeed - One 30 min run with one sachet and boy, did it do the job!Scent - Didn't try it but I didn't notice any smell eitherRemovability - TOTAL - on my personal kettle. Very good kettle descaler. Removed 90% of the limescale in my kettle and left most of it like new again. Did leave a little of the really thick limescale build up on the bottom plate, but that’s because I only left it soaking for about an hour. If able to leave overnight, I think it would have definitely of dissolved the rest. Had no toxic smell, and rinsed off easily. Would definitely buy this again.

A super product that works really quickly. It is such a simple and effective solution to getting rid of limescale in your kettle; all you do is boil the kettle, add the sachet contents, leave for 30 mins and then rinse it all out. Your kettle looks brand new on the inside. There is no bad small to the product, in fact I don’t remember there being a smell at all.I’d definitely recommend this product and having a pack of three is ideal for future uses. Once I run out I will definitely purchase this product again.

I purchased the Ecozone Kettle and Iron Descaler as I live in a hard water area and it doesnt take long before the kettle is full of limescale.The product is really easy and simple to use although is not as effective as some others I have used in the passed. The product worked well getting the limescale of the bottom of the kettle but not as good removing from the glass. I tried twice and the glass still wasnt clean.Overall not bad and relatively inexpensive but i think better to pay a few pounds more and get the better products.

I cannot recommend this product enough. I looked inside my kettle and was horrified to see the brown disgusting brown stuff inside. I was going to buy a new kettle but remembered about descaling. I used AI to find the best eco product and this is it. I had to use all 3 sachets to get rid of all the brown matter and now I have a shiny spotless inside of my kettle. It’s inexpensive and effective. Thank you to the manufacturer.

All the time i can buy this is will, it is the best descaler I have bought. I descaled my kettle with a different one 4 days ago and the instant I got this i used it. I would highly recommend this product

These sachets are incredibly easy to use and definitely get rid of a good amount of buildup in both my kettle and iron. However, for heavier limescale, I found that it didn't completely clear everything out in one go. It works well for regular maintenance, but I wish the formula was just a bit stronger to handle tougher scaling without needing a second attempt.

It made my iron stop working. Terrible!

Cleaning a steam iron is a bit tedious, but I was appalled by the amount of gook that it yielded. I will buy this again

I followed the instructions and it was completely clean after. Easy to follow instructions, not too much of a hassle. The instructions say if it doesn't get all of the scale out the first try just redo it but every single bit of it was gone the first try. I will continue to use this in my kettle until it proves me otherwise.
