The subject matter is great, and relevant to my current position. There are some small, but distracting editing errors in the later chapters.

Investing in people
I always enjoy reading John C Maxwell. I want to grow as a leader and develop others to be leaders as well. I wonder how to apply this knowledge in the field of education. How can I use what I have learned to invest in teachers so that they can pass it on to the younger generation. In today’s world, we hear so much about the leadership crisis. What we need now is to start developing leaders in the schools. Develop the teachers, and they can then develop the students.

As a manager and college professor I have found this book very inspiring and readable . Maxwell nailed it again with valuable reflections on the nature of being and building leaders. I will use it in my future management courses.
